100000% agreed,Unvergleichlich. Expecially as i didnt expected much, A. Cooper was trash at best before, and the long Waiting....muddy but thx God no Rain at that Night.... knowing Floor already, but after the 2k5 Scheme didnt like or watched any of their Crafts. Crowd started to be hyped by tzhe Minute, and so did we 5, And then She burst out on Stage with Dark Chest of Wonders. And the typical NW magic Stage Show starts from Zero to 100+? , Empuu, Marko, Yukka, The hatbearing Poet, and then This Voice, like Tarja...but....different, more versatile. And this Stagepresence.....1,5 of the best Hours of my Life. Period.

@@alexandersteinmetz6857 same here. Loved them in their beginnins with Tarja, but with time, she kinda was a one trick pony. Didn`t care for Anette and lost interest. Saw Floor this particular night, and she won me over at first note she sang. Amazing stage presence and versatility. For me, she brought the "Metal" into this symphonic metal band.

A band of consumate musicians who all play for the song. They are so tight, function so well as a group. The bassist is Marko Hietala. He is often called the Father of Metal in Finland, and that is no small thing as Finland has more metal bands per capita than any other country in the world. You will hear much more from him as your journey progresses, including some songs where he takes the lead. The musical harmony between him and Floor is phenomenal. Two very different voices that meld perfectly.

Marco also won the Finland Masked Singer show in 2020. He enjoyed fooling the judges who never did figure out who he was under the mask.

The great thing with Floor is that she has complete control... Her voice is gravelly when she want's it to, and it can also be smooth as silk if and when she wants that... Same thing with vibrato, and other technical details. Floor can change them on the flick of a dime when she wants or thinks its necessary for the story or the emotion of the song... (there are even recordings where she goes straight from deep death growls to powerfull operatic notes)..

And let's not forget Emppu Vuorinen, a great solid guitarist, who doesn't feel the need to show off. He doesn't have to, we already know that he is a top musician and has a great sense of humor.

Wish I had been at Wacken 2013 ... I did get to photo their show last year in Silver Spring, MD. In the pit, nothing between me and the stage. Yeah they walked out and blew me back about 50 feet it seemed ... unreal moment! Yes, they still kick ass on tour!

I wasn't at Wacken, but I was at Wembley two years later. Obviously I can't really compare, but the energy felt the same. There plenty of videos from the Wembley gig on KZbin.

I have said this, like a hundred times, but it's true. This song is Like a Coffee with Red Bull .... On Steroids 🤘❤‍🔥🤘. The “scream” at the end is called a glissando, going from low to high and back, for classically trained singers this is an exercise to warm up the vocal cords, so Floor will do this probably every day before breakfast . And, Nightwish was founded by Tuomas (metal Mozart), Emppu (guitar player) and Tarja (first Vocalist) ! Plus, the bass player IS Marko (ex-Nightwish). Nightwish lyrics are often a bit interpretive, and not as "straightforward" as many other bands, because Tuomas prefers people to put their own interpretations and life experiences into the lyrics. you connect with songs on a personal level when there is something there that relates to things you have gone/are going through, and you may even find new connections later on in life when you have gone through other big events/emotions. there might be songs you are quite indifferent about (oh, nice song) and then you go through something big and all of a sudden it makes you break down in tears because now you relate to something in the lyrics you didn't before, and see it from a whole new perspective. imagination and life experiences are powerful, and Tuomas has great appreciation of this. Interesting, let's see what comes next ??? Most reactors stop reacting to Nightwish after 3-5 songs, or when they get desired amount of subscribers. Interested, but on standby mode for now... To see Marko as a lead singer of Nightwish you have to react to "High Hopes" live from End of an Era, or "The Islander" live from Tampere. For a ballad "Kiss while your lips are still red" live from Wembley. And there a still a lot of duets waiting 😂

I'd somehow got to 56 years of age having not heard of Nightwish or Floor until around 18 months ago when a good friend pestered me in to listening to "The Poet and the Pendulum" live from Wembley 2015. Reluctantly I did, not expecting to like what I heard due to my preconceived ideas about symphonic metal but OMG I was blown away and have been ever since. Phenomenal band preferably experienced live 🙏😊👍❤️

Great reaction! Marko is an amazing singer in his own right. He was the lead singer of his own band , Tarot, before joining Nightwish and sings lead on several Nightwish songs including their tribute to Pink Floyd's High Hopes (live from End of an Era concert, Tarja is off stage changing outfits), The Islander (live from Tampere), While Your Lips are Still Red (live from Wembley), and his last song with Nightwish, Endlessness. From their most recent album Human Nature. Endlessness is one my favorite Marko song. You guys asked if Tuomas sings and he actually sang on a few of their songs on their first album, Angels Fall First. The recording was supposed to only be a demo but the label that signed them liked it so much they released it as is. Tuomas wasn't a fan of his voice and has not sung on any subsequent albums. Before Marko joined the band they used guest singers for any male vocal parts. The amazing going up and down by Marko and Floor near the end is called a glissando (sliding), used by opera singers as a daily excercise to warm up the vocal cords, something Floor would do every day in the bathroom, so nothing special for her. That Marco can keep up with her is amazing and a testament to his vocal professionalism.

I was there! Nightwish army division Holland. I am going to all the festivals with Nightwish. Helfest in France is awesome, Pinkpop in Holland is great, Exit in Serbia is also a huge metal festival. Gotta love nightwish and the festivals❤

Floor is the ultimate all-arounder. Someday, get into all her solo stuff from 2019 - 2022....cover songs, Beste Zangers show, Sing Meinen Song 2022 show, While Love Died (best rock song ever), Disdain with her Revamp band at Graspop 2010, Amsterdam Live 2021 solo show. For Marko it's Pink Floyd cover of High Hopes, the Islander, The Phantom with Tarja in 2005, and Kiss While Your Lips are Still Red. Those are all my personal favorites. Like I say, just search for them in your spare time by yourself and enjoy, you don't have to do a reaction video of all this stuff.

Hey guys, this was Floors concert as a member of the group, it is striking her control & interaction with the audience, that didn’t even know she was now a member of the band. She is very emotional at the end of this concert. Floor is really the only one that does the low growls, they are often quick. Don’t mistake it when you hear them, & hand them off to Marko. Marko has the grandest distortions though! What a duo they are. I hope Floor will have him as a guest in her next Floor Jansen concert whenever that comes, but right now…new baby coming!🤘💥

Can't help but laugh to "Does the keyboardist sing?" He does not. He's a brilliant composer, yet he can't compose for his voice. He tried once. He tried to bury it afterwards, but this is internet. Can't bury anything on the internet. The Carpenter (official video). But you didn't hear this from me, ok? Check it for your own amusement or react to it, I don't care, but you have to understand. :D It's not to say that he couldn't sing if he wanted to, it's just... when you don't like the sound of your voice, there's nothing in the world that can convince you otherwise, so you don't even try to develop it further.
