This is a severely cut down version of a Live Stream from October, 2021, analysing Nightwish's All The Works of Nature Which Adorn the World. See original live stream here for the full playings of each movement of the work:
• NIGHTWISH Human :II: N...
The Reason why much of the Music is not being played in this video:
I had originally edited a cut down version, which included the entire playings of each movement. Unfortunately due to copyright (which included my attempt to monetise the video), "Believe Music" as the publisher ordered that my video be taken down and issued me with a copyright strike. I could no longer upload the same video from there. As a result, I had further cut this down. The copyright was still picked up in this from KZbin's content ID. Despite the music largely not being used in this video, and detailed analysis given (in line with fair use), Believe Music refuses to have me monetise this particular video. As a result, I did not put in an appeal for fear that this video as well would be taken down.

Sorry this happened, why they continue to do this is unknown, because they get more exposure from the type of video you provide to us! Most importantly I would have never have heard them if it were not for you doing a reactionanalysis!!!also one cover she did once she won AGT at 12 years, "River!" You will be pleasantly surprised!!

It’s ok! I don’t mind them doing this in general, as reactions on the whole do use all of the copyright content. I was really disheartened by this because it’s a genuine analysis which I believe brings a great understanding and new meaning to the work as a whole. It was planned and structured with well supported musical examples.

Believe Music has been associated with copyright trolling and copyright infringement by itself as well (how ridiculous is that!) so I'm not surprised if they stop your uploads.. Meanwhile, I think KZbin recently changed something to allow possibility to keep things online at some regions while it might not be allowed in others (due to not having fair use in their law as such). Great video, by the way, I liked the analysis!

Thanks so much! Every time I hear this work, it makes such an impact on me. Like you, I’ve heard it so many times (maybe approaching 100!), and I too learn something new when hearing it every time! I was so keen to share my thoughts :)

Thank you for this interesting lesson! Yes, the almost subliminal recognition of the melody, brings on the tears. Tuomas, Mr Déjà vu! Fantastic to see the joy on a music teachers face.

Really enjoyed this. I find the music to be an emotional rollercoaster, therapeutic. Whatever Tuomas has a hand in writing always seems to have great depth of emotion and I love that particularly. 😊👍

I have to agree, Green is a huge grower. I think it's actually my fave now. It's just so serene, calming, you're really feeling like you're inside a lush forest and all you hear are the sounds of nature.

I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I always thought it was Floor who made me cry, but I now realize it's actually Tuomas and his genius writing... This has made me cry several times. Thanks for explaining why!

Yes, that is Floor doing the vocalizations. I did not catch the rhythm similarity between The Blue and Ad Astra. Wonderful commentary. I really love this piece of artistic genius from Tuomas. He clearly must have spent months of work and very serious planning around the subtleties and nuances of this composition. These movements are so powerfully endowed with musical soundscapes and colors. I find myself listening to everything from a thought provoking sadness to a inquisitive yet perplexing and unanswerable question. My favorites are Vista and of course Ad Astra. The Ad Astra theme always bring an emotional response from deep inside my chest. A feeling of maybe, what if, if only? This is the melody I will hear when I leave this earthly existence. Wonder, Sadness, Joyful expectation, and the acceptance of our human mortality entwined in the "Endless Forms Most Beautiful" that exists all around us and will continue on long after we are gone and forgotten. Thank you so much for this thoughtful and detail analysis of this amazing gift for Tuomas to humanity. Open you ears and hearts to this emotional journey. It may help you to appreciate the time you have before it is too late. Be well my friend. Wonderfully done!

I´ve heard the whole thing many many times, but your analysis sheds completely new light on it, and I´m honestly surprised. At two things: 1) How could I not hear those similarities, 2) how big a genius Tuomas is to hide it so perfectly for laymen. :) Loving your content!

Another great analysis! 27:00 I had heard Ad Astra before hearing All The Works of Nature Which Adorn the World so I obviously noticed the melody but I didn't notice the rythmic similarity to to Blue until your analysis. And great point about Uillean pipes having human voice like sound. It makes sense that Tuomas uses that for many solo like parts, for example near the start of the Greatest Show on Earth; the part played by Troy could be something that Floor sings, too.

Fascinating, thank you! I have no musical training but a casual interest in how it works, so this is right up my street. Regarding the Green: I often listen to this while working (don't hate me, purists), and there's a moment during the Green when I ALWAYS look up/round. On the fan video it's right before the leaves start falling upwards (11m 22s). I don't know what it is about it, but it just grabs my attention.

Love your comments and suggestions and views on this awesome group, Was wondering if there was any chance that you might do a reaction on Grace Vanderwhaal! "Dancing in the Moonlight" She did three specific of this song. Music video, live the Women mucic awards, and she did it in AGT almost one year later. Another awesome song, now we need to remember at this time she just turned 13 years old her performance from the roof top in New York. Everything is done acoustically. "The darkness keeps chasing me." Don't want to take away from this video you are doing. You can find the history of Grace starting with "AGT" I believe it was the 11th season. She won 1st place! 12 years old. Self taught on the Ukulele and song writer, vocalist, composer.I I wanted to give you the best of grace. Look up her acoustic deliveries from the roof top of New York, this girl is phenomenal!!! I just realized since it has been a while. Grace does
