The bassist is Marko Hietala, he sings a lot with Floor, has some songs on lead vocals, and... guess what ? Released a solo album last year (Finnish version last year, and english one last january) And he kicks asses !!! (He even might surprise you, Floor is not the only one having multiple vocal styles ;-) )

This was a taste of Nightwish doing a little musical theater style song. Marco was the nasculine devil and Floor plays the part of the beautiful sea nymph or sea spirit. Marco is the bassist and 2nd lead vocalist.

Still a hell of a performance even with being sick! 🤘🤘🤘

She was ill. You can hear it clearly towards the end of the concert. Especially singing GLS she had to give in and clearly ease some notes, not the normal power in her voice there. But amazingly she was able to kill the famous last high note, anyway. And you could see how relieved she was, smiling, and Emppu, the guitarist, went to her, smiling, and congratulated her. And then Floor started pawing Emppu's guitar, and Emppu covered his eyes with his hand. That was so funny.

After this South-American tour, Floor told in at least one interview that she was really sick & could hardly talk. I guess she was getting over it by Buenos Aires, or the band found a skilled doctor to give her a temporary fix for the show as towards the end of the show she started having some issues with her vocals, although she still managed to pull off the high note at the end of Ghost Love Score.

I could talk your ears of with this topic. Just enjoy the ride if you like them. They will surprise you, no really similar songs, all kinds of emotions will come. But as sure that when more Nightwish fans find you, there more suggestions you'll get. I'm not going to go there since... there's such so many and earlier I've tried to done that but most do it better, to like in what order and stuff. As said before in a way, if you enjoy them and gotten just a few songs. We'll... you have things to do later. :D Take care. Still loving the reactions. Will guess Romanticide and Ever Dream. DON'T do " The Poet And The Pendulum or Greatest Show On Earth " until you do some background work. You won't know how much emotion the band ( and Army ) feels for those two. The lyrics won't make any sense to you if you don't. Nice reactions, keep them honest.
