Hi Andrei and Domenika. I'm 65 years old I was also at Wembley last year. It's good to know I wasn't the only person tearing up when they did this, David. I've been watching Nightwish reactions for about 4 years, and I can say that you guys are my favorite to watch react. A lot of people fake reactions trying to get views, and some folks just don't have any reactions at all. There are plenty of good reactors out there, but you guys truly feel the emotions that Nightwish tries to convey, and you show it. I regularly tear up at a lot of Nightwish songs, songs I've heard dozens of times! That's why I love them so much, they speak to my emotions, whether it be happy, sad, relaxed, excited, it doesn't matter! I'm glad to see it affect others the same.

When Floor sings like this, every little boy (inside of real men) thinks of their mother and what it feels like to be held and loved unconditionally... that is why this makes men cry. As an interesting aside, this is my 4yr old boy's favorite grown up song. He makes me play it on the ride home from Preschool. He sings the entire thing and knows the lyrics by heart.

This is one of my absolute favorites. The message is so beautiful: kindness, caring and love. I like the album version a lot, but this version is more emotional due the intimate acoustic setting. Andrei, I will be 61 next week and like you I tend to be a little embarassed to be seen showing emotion. I probably have cried about 5 times since I was a baby. Three years ago I discovered Nightwish and Floor and now have probably cried a liter of tears. There are about 10 songs that I just get lost in the beauty and emotion. I actually feel good about it now. It is like a cleansing of the mind.

I have to admit, I’m a sucker for a song that touches me emotionally, and this is one that wrecks me every time. It doesn’t even have to be sad to have an effect on me. Music just has a power to make me feel more than any other artistic medium, almost every strong emotion I can recall from my life has music attached to it. Don’t be afraid to feel, it’s what makes us human, embrace it and enjoy it.

Now.. you may call me a sadist, torturer or whatever but I'd like to inform you that there's a live performance, of the full band version of this song. You did the official lyric video of course. A tender heart defeats bitterness and wrath. Imagine if all mankind could be greatly moved to feel the emotion, the love and caring nature this song puts out for us to absorb? This song provokes loving kindness and compassion, which is a quality you are blessed to be graced with Andrei. The world is dark, but humanity that is filled with compassion is a lamp in the dark. Hold on to what you have and never let it go, as a tender heart is the strength humanity is in desperate need of. Amazing reaction, guys. As always... Here's a FB post from Troy about this acoustic set : "As part of our 'Human :II: Nature' promotional tour of Europe, myself and my little sister Floor were asked to perform an acoustic set for the UK radio show 'Planet Rock'. I arranged two songs at very short notice - The old NW corker 'Nemo' and the new NW corker 'How's the Heart'. Surprisingly, it was something of a triumph; especially considering its background. It started well with me falling down a staircase in the hotel an hour before the shoot. Yes, I launched myself after breakfast and as I approached the solid marble floor from a height I remember thinking "this could be really bad..." however, in midair I called on my stuntman training (I was the stunt coordinator on the Indiana Jones movies) and, flailing beautifully, landed with a loud splat, like a big stupid flailing thing. The hotel staff were very impressed as I limped off heroically laughing. Then, after crawling through London in a taxi, we were told that we only had time for one run-through of the songs (!) and Floor hadn't a clue what I was going to be up to with my traumatised guitar. So off we went, into the valley we rode, knowing there was time for only one take. And that was it, for all the world to see."

Eric Clarke from the Store Side channel explained it perfectly. Floor makes you feel like she's hugging you and telling you it's going to be okay before pushing you down a flight of stairs. But she's at the bottom of the stairs to catch you. I don't think anyone is going to be offended by calling this song simple. We all feel the direct, straight line right into our hearts.

This is a great song and can really hit you hard. If I can presume, you are like a lot of people, like myself that don't always show their emotion or we just like to hold it in for whatever reason. Sometimes we can hold it in so much or be too stoic that something can trigger our emotions to flow out almost uncontrollably. It is such a simple message but for many it is really hard to tell others how you feel. This song forces you to think about it and I can't help but tear up. Based on what I've seen from you, you seem like a good man Andrei ❤

My theory🤔: Often, when you cry to a Floor/NW song, it's because you have something inside that needs to get out, whether you are concious of it or not...Floor has a way of pulling it out of you and once the tears are done, it's a cleansing act and you are better for it...

Bro it's good for you to cry as it help exposes any feelings of vunerability we tend to hide. As a metal head with past pain and a horrible upbringing where bad things happened to me i built this wall of ice with my metal and became cold. This type of music melts the ice and brings out the tears and a feeling of relief makes me feel alive, whole and complete i feel Human now instead of the numb caged beast. We need a way to vent and share the softer side in us all. Have a wonderful day and no matter what happens know we are all here for you and that your loved.
