Happy Birthday John. 🎉🎉🎊🎊🎂🎂🥂🥂 Always love your musicality and knowledge. The opening track "Music" is followed by this one. Music is a celebration of mankind discovering music and the joy and illumination it gave to humankind. This one then instills a sense of impending danger which awaits. Lest we forget about what really matters in life and gives value to the human experience. I totally agree John. Most of the Nightwish grooves feel like they make you want to swing your head side to side instead of up and down. Emppu actually tunes to D, so he plays this song in the F# position. yes, the cuneiform symbols are from the Human :II: Nature record. I think it basically means god/nature over and above humanity. Really enjoyed how you analyzed each section for keys changes, time signatures, and other musical nuances.

"have a near-life experience" 😰 YAY, was waiting for a new reaction on Nightwish, thanks sir! I always love their lyrics and BOOM, they hit hard. The music is ALWAYS supporting the lyrics in a superb way! Human Nature, the album is a masterpiece. The songs are all different but still belong to each other. Lyrically but also melodically. The order of the songs also makes a lot of sense. You are very correct. You will hear the tri-tones more often in their music. Heavily disapproved by the church😅 It sounds great, ery and haunting. I admire your musicality so much, it's a joy when you break down the music. I am the same, it's intriguing. I would say it's a 13/4, because a 13/8 would indeed be faster. Sometimes it's so hard to get the key or rhythm changes right in their music. They are awesome musicians. Too late, but still congratulations with your birthday! Greets from the Lowlands😉

This video is very deep and we can probably write a thesis on it. Just one bit that made me laugh the first time I saw it: Troy on his golden 'throne' Twittering while wearing his oil derrick crown. Perfect analogy for Donald Trump being put into the White House by Koch brothers oil money, Twittering from his golden throne in Trump Towers. At first Troy is seen with the capital building behind him when he is sitting on an actual throne, but later when he gets off the toilet, the image behind him is that of an oil refinery. The symbol at the end is cuneiform with nature or heaven on top and the symbols for man and woman below. "Human:||:Nature"

Happy birthday 🥳 The beginning of the video has a bit of music that is not on the album version of this song, but it reminds me a lot of the beginning of “The eyes of Sharbat Gula” a beautiful instrumental piece from their previous album “Endless forms most beautiful “ It’s not the same instrument wise I don’t think but it sounds similar to me.
@TimoArula
@TimoArula 7 ай бұрын
First things first... Happy Birthday !!!! Now, about these samples/real instruments: On album, the orchestra instruments are Absolutely real (The London Philharmonics. Pip Williams helps with the orchestration. There are two London based choirs too on the backing track, the other one is a children's choir.) !!!!! And that's a Fact, there are documentaries how Tuomas makes an album !!! Then, on the live concerts Tuomas uses his keyboard to insert those "Real" orchestra parts and choirs in to the Live concert !!! Human. :II: Nature. album starts with "Music" (which is direct sequel to the Nightwish - "The Greatest Show on Earth") then comes the "Noise". The “noise” which Nightwish talks about in this song is a metaphor for constantly being plugged into the “matrix”. Or a simpler way of putting it is that this song is based on the concept of the modern human dependency on electronic media being a bad thing. don't get me wrong , virtual media is not entirely bad, but it's abuse is. The hole Human. :II: Nature. album is basically slap in our face (what we need ), about nature and our role in it. This album is absolutely brilliant !!!!! Floor was the mother with the little girl doing selfies. Tuomas was eco warrior and bathing in oil. Emppu on phone getting stabbed. Kai taking pictures of stabbing, Marko the pill pusher and Troy the king on his throne/toilet. The blonde model is Jessica Edstrom, an actual internet "influencer". She is pretty big in Europe, and was willing to do this video which pokes fun at the world in which she makes a living. I'd say she's pretty cool for doing this. "Sunset is free From this deity The Earth has a real voice Go out and get in" !!! Favorite lyric from this song !!! NWSU/FloorFan 🤘😎🤘.

Happy Birthday John ! 40? Well done, your're taking me back 37 years. . . . . . . . 🙂 I know you don't do lyrics as a rule which are metaphoric here but fairly obvious, but I had a go at interpreting the video. . . . . . . . Well, everyone is on their phone to inflate themselves in the digital world. Black Mirrors - Black Mirror is a British dystopian science fiction anthology television series. It examines modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies. Troy is king oil/industry, he has a crown of oil derricks, gold platform shoes to be above everyone else, he has a golden throne, literally. He has a public concerned face but actually couldn't care less and throws the flowers away. Floor is the child pageant mother using her child to promote herself on social media using the child and has the child locked in her cage skirt, the kid just wants to go to the fairground. Emppu is one of the phone monks dedicated to their phones and cannot even see the Mona Lisa in front of them, he swipes the wrong way not following the herd and is "killed" by his peers while Kai uses that as a selfie backdrop - something which has happened. Marko is the useless pills for everything salesman, you have to be quick to read what's on the bottles. Tuomas is the apparent, but two faced greenie, he has signs both for and against nuclear energy and privately bathes in oil from big industry which smothers the duckling you see him nurture before. It's actually warmed veg oil, semolina and food dye. The double visual is to suggest oil field nodding donkey pumps. Jessica Edström is parodying herself by using surgical enhancements and minimal clothes as you can see from a Google search of her. There are black mirrors everywhere and hexagons on the walls and floors which is the standard basic planning map for cell towers to give maximal reuse of radio spectrum, and it is the format of the hive too. The child, with a QR code on its arm, is placed in the "phone matrix" early on and gets hearts on the screen for its media efforts; when it dies as an old man the monitor screen goes black and listen carefully, there's the old three note chime of the Windows Bluetooth shut-down melody. The ending is fairly obvious, get off your phone and go look at the amazing world outside. Tuomas said this: "Noise is a reminder. It’s some food for thought. We see it more as an optimistic video than pessimistic. Especially the last 10 seconds of the video, when you see the beautiful forest and the landscape, it should fill you with hope the real world is still out there. This video is not a criticism about technology or cell phones. We love technology. We wouldn’t ever have done this record without technology. We love our cell phones, the Internet and all that, but it’s a criticism for the addiction that these things cause in human beings. ‘Addiction’ is the word. It’s such a shame that we have all these wonderful tools that we can use for the good, to spread true information and to be connected to the world. We love the idea of social media, like Twitter, that everybody in the world suddenly has a voice; we have a voice. We can immediately get out there. It’s just a matter of what you put out there. And that’s what the video is all about."

Hello my friend John!!!...No one better than you, to make a reaction video and analyze this incredible singer, with an stunning range voice, who is leaving all the experts, literally with their jaws on the floor (Do you remember Jim Carrey's movie "The Mask"? well, just like that)...In 2017, a 22-year-old singer from Kazakhstan, named Dimash Kudaibergen, was invited to participate in the famous Chinese program for professional singers called "The Singer"... In his first appearance, Dimash covered one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse"...Since then all this madness began on the internet, KZbin and social networks worldwide and he is already considered the best singer on the entire planet.!.. It is almost impossible to see a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges of 8 octaves, that is, the 88 keys of a digital piano, which allows him to reach all registers, both masculine and feminine, that is, he can sing as Bass, Baritone, Tenor, Contratenor, Contralto, Mezzosoprano and Soprano...You can see in KZbin to all kinds of experts (Vocal coaches, analysts, singing teachers, singers, youtubers, reactors, etc.), who have dedicated themselves to watching his videos and verifying for themselves that what is said about him is completely true...In addition to all this, Dimash is capable of singing in more than 12 languages!!...In all his concerts worldwide, tickets are sold in just seconds, via the internet, due to the immense popularity he has worldwide... Anyway, I think you haven't met this impressive singer yet, so here is the link to the first song that Dimash performed in China in that year 2017, the song S.O.S., and if it doesn't bother you, I would like you to mention me as the person who recommended it to you...Warning: You have to be prepared for thousands of views, comments and new subscribers!!...The video It is more recent, so it does not have the millions of views that the first ones, but it is more complete, including an intro, subtitles in several languages and better audio and sound quality!!...kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHW7ZHmeot6Bl8U

there also isn't a Nightwish live recording yet only festival feeds which are of middling quality sound wise. They also miss Marco who was an integral vocal part of this album and the live versions miss his vocal contributions as Troy isn't a belter type voice. Makes this next album interesting to me as it will be the first without Marco for over 20yrs!

In 2003 I worked for a while in England which was not common for me based in the US and Canada. I took the opportunity to head to Glasgow where I was born, to check out music and perhaps a relative. Driving north close to the border it was foggy and the mountains (really just hills) seemed to be coming out of the sky and standing there. I had roundabout on one of my CD’s so I played it about 4 times. Sometime later I heard the members of yes say how they came up with the idea driving back from Scotland through many roundabouts and I assume some mountains.
