Here you have arrived, to one of the songs with folk influences (the Celtic vein, as I care to call it) in which the 6th member of the band, multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley (GB) also participates. He plays here the uilleann pipes, a traditional Irish instrument. This song is a call to return to the innocent moments of childhood, when tears had no place. "Where is the wonder where's the awe / Where are the sleepless nights I used to live for / Before the years take me / I wish to see / The lost in me" In this performance, guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, the band's prankster, takes advantage of a moment of inattention and disconnects Floor's audio monitor in passing - when he switches back on, a few moments later, Floor looks at him as if she was going to step on him :) I'm sure you'll notice the exchange of gestures / glances...

You definitely will like the crowd interaction during this song in Buenos Aires a few years later, just enjoy watching that. Is Pagan's Mind a famous group in Norway, I am not familiar with their music. However, the guitarist of that band teamed up with Floor Jansen to make an album. The project is called Northward, a cooperation of Floor Jansen and Norwegian guitarist Jørn Viggo Lofstad. They made a few video's available on KZbin.

Nice 😀 If you go to 5:40 in your reaction video, Emppu (guitarist) is playing a prank on Floor by messing with her in-ear monitors. He is running behind her unplugging them and a few seconds later you can see her fixing it with a hand behind her back 😁 Emppu is the prankster of the group. She later towers over him as he returns 😆

There is a moment when Emppu messes with Floor's earpiece's wire. They are plotting it with Troy in the beginning of this video. Emppu is quite a trickster. I can't wait to see that "While your lips are still red"-reaction. That song is so good. If you can also react to Buenos Aires-version of this song too sometime? Those were the Irish uilleann pipes. Troy is the Brit in the band. He plays many different traditional instruments. Looking forward to the next one Shield Maiden. ⚔⚔❣❣

A proper introduction to Englishman Troy Donockley, the band multi instrumentalist. He and Floor were announced as permanent members a couple months after this show. Troy started playing with them in 2007. Here he is playing the Uilleann (ill-en) pipes, the Irish version of bagpipes that uses a bellows squeezed by the elbow to inflate the bag. That allows the user to sing as well, here he is doing 3rd harmonies. Uilleann is the Gaelic word for 'elbow'. He also plays whistles, bouzouki, guitar with and without EBOW. This is the version with Emppu's stage prank on Floor. At the beginning you see him telling Troy of the plan. Later , when he crosses behind her, he unplugs her in ears, you see her reach back to fix it. When he crosses back, Floor stares him down so he can't do it again. lol. Later on your own, check out the Buenos Aires 2018 version (Martine left you the link), the South American crowd is something to see, Floor dances all over the stage, and you will see current drummer Kai Hahto. Maybe the most fun version, but this one is great too. "Kiss While Your Lips Are Still Red" is a good one, Marko on lead vocals, and the video is from Wembley 2015.

Here you meet Marko as lead singer, Floor backing - and Troy on E-BOW !!! **** Some one else mentioned Northward - a side project Floor started together with Jørn Viggo Lofstad from Pagan's mind (super guitarist). They started this old school hard rock project up in 2008. Wrote all the songs and recorded the drums. Then, due to the circumstances, the had to waite 10 years, before they finished the project. I concur too. Troy (the bagpipist) also sings in this song so there are actually 3 part harmonies, not just two, but you can hear and see him more clearly in the Buenos Aires concert. This is still a good version though.

They are an Irish bagpipe known as Uillean Pipes (I likely spelled that wrong!). They have such a much sweeter and more melodic sound than the traditional Scottish ones. 🙂

Gabriels list is all good, but I think a bit out dated. It stays too long in the past before suggesting any of the most recent music from last two albums and Human:ll:Nature -tour. Tribal official live or Shoemaker live @Hellfest are some of the more recent goto performances. And ofcourse Phantom of the Opera @ Amsterdam. One of my favourites is the whole live show from Deichbrand 2022. This is I think the best sample of their latest festival tour. Nightwish is like fine wine - the nuances in their live shows and music get ever finer as they mature..
