This album's the one that has to make you love Anette! I'm impressed with what they achieved here; a perfect blend of influences and tones that make Anette and the band sound true together, and which definitely separates this "era" (unfortunately short-lived...) from Tarja's legacy. Masterpiece.

Michael Oakes I do agree with you, yet I disagree a little. Please don't hate me! I agree with you that if Marco left he would take a large piece of Nightwish's heart with him but..... what about Tuomas? He may not be a great singer but he is responsible for most of the lyrics and orchestral pieces. I'd say he's an even larger part of Nightwish than Marco. Tarja and Anette and to a lesser extent Marco (because Marco has written a few sings for Nightwish) are just mediums to express Tuomas's feelings and lyrics.
