Her voice is out of this world. It's amazing that a simple hair flick, done at the right moment, greatly increases the power in her performance. She is the Valkyrie Queen of Metal.

This tune continues a strong series of set openers from ‘Storytime’ to ‘Dark Chest of Wonders’ to apparently this coming tour’s drum intro from ‘Music’ leading into ‘Noise.’ Looking forward to the reaction.

Nice to see you guys, and glad you still liking the Nightwish. This was the opener at Wembley, second song was "Yours is an Empty Hope" and Floor got her growl on and aggressive Floor made an appearance. A strong beginning to a great concert. They out there kicking ass now, sadly with no Marko, but still kicking ass with Human Nature. Their bassist for at least the tour is Jukka from Wintersun, strong bassist. Nice reaction.

Greetings from Finland! I enjoyed your reaction & Chels attempt to interpret the song's title in her favour was quite witty. Although I don't know if you only take suggestions via Patreon, I'm still going to try my luck here. So, should you guys like progressive (symphonic) metal, there's a quite new Israeli band that has stellar musicians & a female powerhouse of a vocalist, who also composes their music, makes her own stage outfits, has served in the Israeli army & worked with the Israeli opera and even with the great Indian conductor Zubin Mehta. This is one of their 1st music videos, actually a lyrics video, from 2015 when they had barely started as a band: Scardust - Shards (Lyric Video) kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHLTi4R6bc1_nbc There is also a live version, but even if the audio is good, it falls short of e.g. Nightwish's official live videos. Just in case, this is the live version from 2014, i.e. a year earlier: Scardust - Shards LIVE 12/7/2014 kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqLcXoutrsSDaJI To really test your new headphones, I'd go with the studio version above. P.S. The vocalist/composer Noa Gruman is also the conductor of Hellscore metal choir & she and the choir have performed live & recorded studio albums with bands like Ayreon (2021 "Transitus" album), Therion (2021 "Leviathan" album) & Amorphis (2018 "Queen of Time" album). Although Noa is a classically trained vocalist, pianist & cellist, she has also worked on her contemporary vocals for two years with none other than Floor Jansen. Noa has a vocal range from C2 to G6, which is 4½ octaves, which is more than an octave wider that those of e.g. Floor Jansen, Tarja Turunen & Simone Simons.

It's a dear song for many, since this was the show opener in their Endless Forms Most Beautiful world tour. If you happened to hear this live, then you were in for a wild ride for sure. The lyrics are available for individual interpretation like always with, but I believe the "Beautiful" in the title means the beauty of nature and life. It's sort of tree-huggy that way and it's one of the very best Nightwish songs in my opinion - Another song in a similar vein that I rate just a little bit higher would be Alpenglow, which you can find they played live at this same concert as well. I know people keep suggesting The Greatest Show on Earth live at Tampere, so I'll just second that suggestion. I'd also be interested to see what you think about some of the stuff on the newest album, especially Shoemaker. Floor has some amazing operatic lines in that one. The song also has an interesting backstory because it's about Eugene Shoemaker. According to Wikipedia, "In their 2020 album, Human. :II: Nature., Finnish metal band Nightwish paid tribute to Shoemaker in the song 'Shoemaker'. Composer Tuomas Holopainen says he was inspired by his biography, which moved the entire band to tears." I don't think you'll be disappointed. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJvTkHecq6-co8k

Kai om drums, Tuomas/Emppu battling and Floor/Marko harmonizing what is there not to love about this song, everything was perfect...duh it is Nightwish LIVE. We will really miss Marko not only his bass playing but his vocals. There a very few people on this planet that can harmonize with Floor like him and even fewer who can claim to have had Floor Jansen as his backup singer in a few songs.

Fantastic reaction, as per usual guys. Please try a reaction to a couple of Floor’s solo songs. I have listed the links below. Winner was written by Tim, the curly haired guy on the couch, for his brother who is confined to a wheel chair. Tim always said that he never cries, until Floor finished with the song. With tears running down his face he simply says “F*&K you Floor”. The other song “A Song for Warchild” was dedicated to the children that were affected by War. There is no video of this song unless you want to watch it sung in Swedish. I will warn you in advance Chels to get the tissues ready you are going to need them.
