She cut her hair in late 2022, but it has grown out fairly now. I saw them live this summer when she was heavily pregnant - that didn't stop her from rocking, headbanging and windmilling. She gave birth to her second little girl in October.

Lucy I think, I believe her first Girl is Freja. I love Nightwish and Sabaton - strange because I came to both bands and she sings in Nightwish and her Husband I think Drums for Sabaton, (at least did). They also have the most Metal looking dog ever.

@@patchouli2274I think she started using extentions when her long hair started getting thin, but she does not use that anymore if You read her own post on Twitter on October 5th, 2022: "I love my shorter hair! Even though I’d rather have it long and healthy. But my hair grew thin, became brittle and wasn’t healthy anymore. I started using extensions that made it look beautiful again. I am grateful for the possibility of that, but like my natural me the most. 1/4" "So, if that means shorter hair to make it healthy and natural again, so it is. I am excited to ‘test drive’ my shorter hair for some windmilling on stage with Nightwish next week in Brasil!!! It’s still called headbanging haha, not hairbanging ;-) 2/4" "I know some of you are concerned that I cannot or won't headbang anymore, and that the choice for shorter hair has somehow something to do with my solo career or a move away from metal. 3/4" "Rest assured, it is nothing more than a search for a natural healthy head of hair from a 40+ mom who is as in love with metal and music as ever, but also…. just human. 4/4"

Such a great performance!!!! What else would it be when it comes to Nightwish! I am 66 years old, and I grew up listening to all the greats of Rock & Roll. Nightwish is without a doubt the best I have seen! As for bands that put on a great concert...I gotta go with AC\DC's performance back at "River Plate, Argentina" in 2009.

She gave birth in 2017 to her first daughter and in 2023 to her second daughter. Since TRibal is from the album Human:Nature from 2020 this puts the play in the 2023-tour (she gave birth in late October if I remember correct).

I love this song with every fiber of my being (all versions!). There is a great lyric video for the studio version that you should check out too. Floor apparently had very damaged hair, so she had it cut more out of necessity than style. Of course, the conspiracy theorists at the time said it meant she was leaving Nightwish to concentrate on her pop career, but obviously that didn't happen. She can still headbang, not only with shorter hair, but also with a baby bump!

Despite her pregnancy, Floor is no longer the youngest. Her hair has become noticeably thinner and frayed. She first tried extensions, but that was probably too complicated for her. Instead, it was shortened. Lucy has now been born and they are both doing well. But she suffered a breakdown after her penultimate Nigwish concert. In 2022, a benign breast cancer was successfully treated. Afterwards she became pregnant. At the same time, she was on tour with Nightwish and also toured with her solo program. In between she recorded the new Nightwish album and before that her own solo album. The collapse probably only surprised her. She had to cancel the last Nightwish concert and retreated to her small farm in the middle of nowhere in Sweden. She later canceled the last two solo concerts. Then Lucy was born and she will probably take her on tour with her, like she did with Freya.

I think she cut her hair in the same time that she had cancer treatment. Maybe got affected of that and cutting it shorter because of it. Not shure but that is my theory on it anyway

Saw Floor at AFAS in Amsterdam the other day (Dec 8th). Great show with the lovely Anneke van Giersbergen as opener and also a magnificent guest appearance of Irene, one of Ayreon's Angels and Floor's "little" sister. In between songs, Floor was almost like a stand-up comedian, cracking jokes in Dutch first and later on in English when she realized the mixed makeup of the crowd. Freja & friends (& nanny) were in the sound booth, sitting on the fence and yes, Floor brought Lucy, sharing with the crowd that it would be the very first time that her own parents would get to see the newborn.
