while revising for the upcoming JLPT I wanted to point out an error. For instransitive verbs(whether the sense is compulsion or permission) the Action Doer is marked by particle "o" unless "o" has already been used in the sentence like in the case of "michi o arukimasu" and "shigoto o yasumiasu". if "o" has been used once then the action doer is marked by "ni" hope this helps proof is example 2 of the minna no nihongo
@AshokN4 ай бұрын

In my opinion, in the quiz at 28:00 the answer is 3, not 2. Minna No Nihongo official answers from the textbook says that. Why is that so in your opinion? Anyway, thanks for the lesson
@littledarkangel982 жыл бұрын
I know it's an old question, but I hope it will help someone else. Asob-u>asob-aseru. Ni because the subject is obviously willing to do the action, and the particle is available. I checked the answers book and the solution is (を/で/あそばせます). So the only the first part is different, mainly because the choice between を and に is not as simple as the video shows. My Japanese teacher at the university made us buy a separate minibook only about the causative.

Sensei, for question 1, the sentence pattern is alike ACTION TELLER は.が ACTION DOER に PLACE を VERB , so answer should be right, if any can clarify me ??

Hi the class was really helpful.But I have one question. In the question, why answer is 2 and not 4? You said place will be marked with 'o', in the video. Will wait for the answer.Thanks in advance
@vasago7920004 жыл бұрын
Hi Esita, it's because the "de" particle marks the location of the action. It takes the meaning "at the" . At least i understand it like that :)
@esitamahapatra14834 жыл бұрын
@@vasago792000 thank you for the reply. I also assumed the same. But in the video it is explicitly said that after place it will be 'o' for this case, so I'm a bit confused

@@vasago792000 but in example michigawa wo aruku ..tht is also locating a place with action arukimasu but marked with wo particle?
@vasago7920003 жыл бұрын
@@SanyaOhri I am not sure if i can explain this correctly cause i'm not a teacher... The を particle has other uses other then marks the subject. 1. Marking the starting point ex. 家を出ます 2. Use to indicate a passing point ex. 橋を渡ります (Hashi o watarimasu) 3. Just to complete the grammar point に also used to indicate a terminating point ex. 家に入ります I am not exactly 100% sure but in the example 右側を歩きます i think that the を takes the meaning of starting point. I would recommend to read this book "短期集中初級日本語文法総まとめ ポイント20" its a book that explains of grammar that you already taught in N4. I used it as a bridge between N4 to N3 cause it helped me with some grammar points i had trouble with. Again, I am not sure if i explained it correctly,so if someone with greater understanding in Japanese clarifies it better i would encourage him to do so. I hope this helped you somewhat,enjoy styding japanese!
