Hello🙂Sayaka.. 💘 Maybe this a dumb question, but I have to ask… are there any differences between American coffee and Japanese coffee?……. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, Sayaka! 🙏 Done with work, time for some bbq now! 😋 🥳🇺🇸💚💚💚🇯🇵🥳
@미아모레사나28 күн бұрын
Short answer: None 😅
@SIDEBYSIDERACING28 күн бұрын
@@미아모레사나 Thank you for your “short” answer! 🥳 I was curious because I’ve heard a lot of people say that Vietnamese coffee is very different, but in a good way. I’ve never been to Japan or Vietnam, but I drink a lot of cold coffee and iced coffee. I want some now. 😂 “Long” reply I know! I hope you have a fantastic weekend! 🙏
@미아모레사나28 күн бұрын
@@SIDEBYSIDERACING No problem. Let me expand a bit. There are at least two aspects: The beans used and the brewing method. Most coffee consumed in Japan is imported. And you can _probably_ find your favorite beans (from the coffee belt or from China or from Hawaii or from any other place for that matter) in a local specialty shop. Most-if not all-equipment or tools are available in Japan too. Espresso machine? Of course. Siphon? Sure. Ibrik? Sure. V60? It’s from Hario (a Japanese company). Moka pot? French Press? AeroPress? Yes, yes, and yes-you can find them all. The point is, if you’re craving for a traditional Turkish or Italian or Indonesian or Vietnamese coffee or any other coffee, you can _probably_ have it in Japan. Btw, depending on how you define it, there’s really no such thing as “Japanese coffee” except maybe for the well-known “Japanese(-style) Iced Coffee” (where you do the usual pour-over but directly over ice) and the “Kyoto Cold Brew” (which uses an incredibly slow dripping method). Anyway, since you like cold/iced coffee, you’ll probably like them. If you haven’t, try making them at home. Enjoy! ☕️ I hope you have a fantastic weekend too! 🙂
@SIDEBYSIDERACING28 күн бұрын
@@미아모레사나 Thank you for your expanded answer! 🎉 I know some countries grow their own coffee beans, but I didn’t know that Japan mainly imports. Time for a little Saturday work and some cold coffee! 😂☕️🥳
