From what I remember, the dude’s Reddit username was his actual full name and he used both of their actual ages in the post so the girlfriend’s sister was easily able to recognize it was him. That + he had apparently played that exact song to her family before (bc an ex told them he had weird taste in music so he showed it off as an example of his taste lmao). The Reddit post exploding in a way where the girlfriend’s family now knew a song that her boyfriend thrusted to during sex probably made things infinitely more awkward for her than just silently hating the song for 2(?) years before telling him ^^;
