I love MIW! And i love the single yall have put out. Been jamming it nonstop for a few days lol. Im not trying to compare MIW and AA, but both of the bands have gotten way better! Not saying yall was bad or anything, but to be a good band you have to transition in order to be better. And AA has done the same thing. They took a risk transitioned as well and the single came out to be killer af!

@@rapinggod9216 whenever I hear him preform acoustic versions of his songs he always sounds amazing. How can you tell if they're editing his vocals? It looks and sounds like he's performing raw in certain vids. Like when he sang the acoustic version of into the fire they recorded it from inside the studio. And he sang perfect by ed sheeran for Sirius radio.

Glad to see they’re inching back towards something heavier. I know Danny has been on record saying he’s not interested in screaming, hopefully he’s walked that back or will throw us a bone on this album. I like that you get some of the older AA undertones with the synth in the back, but with a new mature sound. Danny has such a great voice that although I would love some screams and a killer breakdown I don't really need it. Interested to see what the new album will sound like. I feel like anything will be better than what they produced last.

For all the hate Danny has received over leaving the band, he has always redeemed himself with his soul and passion. People have, for the longest time, thought that Danny was forcing the band to take the Rock 'n Roll approach, but tbh, every band member wanted to change from Metalcore. It's been fantastic seeing them grow and change their sound. I wish they'd be a little more complex versus stadium rock, but Skillet has become very popular with their new-age rock formula and AA is cashing in. The song is fantastic and the message is clear. Wasn't a big fan of their 2020 album, but it's not a terrible record by any stretch. I'm hoping they'll continue to evolve and become more confident in the RnR sound versus any form in core.

@Sinted
@Sinted 3 жыл бұрын
Same reason people hate on Opeth - they had a sound some people liked, then they drastically changed it. Anger and frustration follows. It’s a story as old as time - band decides they want to play something new or different, or they grow up and lose some of that angst and can’t find an emotional place to write that style of music anymore. Even happened to Metallica with the Black album - they got accused of being sellouts because they took on a bit more of a mainstream sound.
