After watching some of Danny’s streams watching old videos of himself I feel like there is more to him specifically not wanting to do heavy again. Every now and again he will let you in on just how bad things were during those times and it is obvious he absolutely hated himself . That being said, I have nothing but the upmost respect for him completely turning his life around and I absolutely love this new record for me it’s some of my favorite work they have ever done . With his talent he could very well be a Corey Taylor if they went down that road, but Outside of artistically not wanting to do what they have already done (which I totally get) I think there is too much of a negative stigma for him. Seems like anyways , regardless I’ll always support whatever they do . And if the SNOP ever decides to go heavy again , the world will explode cause his heavy is a different kind of heavy .

Love this for an intro to a new album. Danny was saying they switched to a new producer and found themselves writing this album. This is the first time they've actually recorded in studio together as a band since From Death to Destiny. Because of this it sounds like they've been inspired to write a much more passionate and driven album. After hearing this im expecting much more that sounds closer to FDTD and hopefully a few heavier bits throughout. 👍

Man i've said it for so long. Idc if theyre not playing breakdowns and screaming anymore, but house on fire was terrible. This song was exactly what i wanted from them it's like moving on, death of me (rock mix), send me home, here I am, someone somewhere, I am one. As fans, we just want good songs whether theyre heavy or not, we can live without the Walmart family friendly pg music. Asking has always got that rock n roll vibe to them, and knowing Ben's influences like metalica and a7x its nice to hear them playing something you know theyre happy to play and isnt just radio garbage.

They just wanted to leave this label as fast as possible and now they start with new single and I think it is a good work, they enjoy this music and it's cool. It's kinda basic, there is no revolution, but there are amazing vocals from Danny, amazing guitar, and overall sound is really good. So I refused to listen to LAHOF in full - I've heard snippets (including Hard Core's album reaction KZbin video) and it disgusted me. This is definitely the best thing I've heard from them since FDTD (or some of The Black), which is a positive. The instrumental work in the verses and actually having a solo is also a posiitve. The negatives? Simplistic, and a pretty blah chorus. Also, who would have thought that Danny would be the weakest part of the song! If he doesn't want to scream, that's fine, but bring some of that grit and swagger from We Are Harlot into the vocals at least.

I wouldn’t call this song “metal” although it’s does have some metal aspects but I think it’s more radio rock just like how their last album sounds. I was expecting to see if Danny would test his vocal rage to make it sound more metal with some screams but it’s just a whole lot of clean versus with nothing much to it. I see how they’re trying to immerse themselves into the metalcore genre with some new elements but it’s just the verses themselves that make it less enjoyable.
