This EP really shows their range as a band. I was almost expecting/anticipating another really consistently heavy album like Zombie 1, but I'm actually glad they changed up the vibes this time around and catered more towards how they've been writing the past 5 years or so by throwing in the softer, more emotional parts. In general, Zombie 1 felt like fear and destruction, where as the overall vibe of Z2 is more hopelessness, somber, and anger. As shitty as COVID-19 has been for the world, it's done some crazy progressive shit to art in general and I feel like it really shows here.

I just wanna share that, ZII is my most anticipated album of the decades. Zombie EP is my top tier Metalcore EP album, and it is my second favorite album from TDWP, second to WRAABB. Even though their last album 'The Act', became softer compared to their old stuff, they are still my favorite Metalcore band, and it adds some dynamics to their music. Will support them no matter what!
