Nike ACG - Lowcate - On Foot Look - Sizing Info - Brand New Silhouette w/ Nostalgic Retro Vibes

What's up everyone!? This is a brand new silhouette from Nike, but it definitely has that old school ACG flair. I really like these and couldn't wait to get them on feet. With many more color ways set to drop this summer, I wanted to give you an on feet look and talk about the sizing! Let me know what you think!

Man I love this pair. Not sure who designed them… that’s actually a great question. I think the style on these, colors, materials, everything is 🔥. I wonder if they’ll catch on or not. @@Jeremya74 they hold up well, but they're really hard for walking on. feels like there's no give under foot. Still useful for trekking through woods and slick terrain, but not ideal for wearing any longer than necessary.

The midsole is rock hard on these, and the laces from toe box to around mid-way point you really need to loosen up because it's tight and my feet aren't even wide. Have the limestone/green Nike swoosh. Looks nice though.

Great review...again. Your comments are very useful...I have read a lot about sizing of Lowcate and your sizing tips but can you tell me if I wear Nike AJ1 and AF1 size 43, should I go half a size up. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the great review! I heard that the cushioning is pretty hard on these pair of shoes(probably for better stabilization during trekking?) I wonder what you would say about the cushioning, is it quite solid that it would be uncomfortable for daily use?

Hey great question! The short answer is… what you’ve heard is correct. They’re not soft under foot, they do feel rigid, like a set of off wheel tires. I haven’t had them on feet for more than an hour or 2… and they’ve never caused any discomfort… but I wouldn’t wear this pair for a long day at the zoo or an amusement park or something. They genuinely are built for the trail, and they’re so good for hills, woods, steep terrain, etc… but not something that generates that “walking on clouds” type feeling. All that being said… for what they are, and for their purpose… I absolutely love them. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!!!

For me are really comfy, only they feel a bit hard under the tongue near the toecap. I don't know if they feel better when you go half size up. Anyway, I also agree, looks like perfect for trekking, not for wearing all day.

really true to size ...less i am between 11 to 12 with ACG . for summer i will use thin socks for winter o gore tex i am more 11,5 to 12 with sports or trail socks

Yeah these feel perfectly snug on my wide 10. I could’ve got away with a 10.5, but TTS is perfect for me.

Hey Blake! Thanks for watching! Unfortunately no, these aren’t waterproof. The sides are primarily mesh so you’d have wet feet if they were submerged. That being said, I love this pair and I’m thinking about grabbing another color. Have a great day!

For those who want to know..theres no suede..its a fake man made material..i do like the way they look but these are not as durable as the old acg shoes from the 90's..then again,what is a durable as the older stuff.

Lowcates are so good. There’s so many different colors out too. I just hope enough people buy them for Nike to keep producing, bc I’d always have a pair in the collection. They’re great for hikes on these WV mountains. Thanks for watching!

They’ve held up fine. They’re not the most comfortable. I’d recommend the NB 610 over these if you’re looking for a trail/street capable sneaker. I like the look of the Lowcate, but prefer the NB 610 for comfort and functionality. The Lowcate just feels so hard under foot.

@@abramoboscato3234 It doesn't fit narrow. The only issue Could be with the cushioning on the tongue if your feet is tall. It doesn't feel much better when you go half size up, but It depends on your feet. Probably you don't have this issue, but I think it's better to try on before if you can.

These run small, if you are planning on using winter socks, ir regular athletic socks, get half size up. If not, you are looking at very uncomfortable shoes.........
