The previous ACG's were "waterproof" as well but would end up absolutely drenched in even light downpours. I'm really not sure why anyone would buy these over a trail shoe or boot like a Solomon. They're all style over substance, made from cheap synthetics and sold at a ridiculous price-point.

From what I could see of the tread, there is no way I would wear these - "in the wilderness" - doesn't look like you get a great deal of grip on muddy ground that's for sure.

I recently sold mine because I found it hard to match for some reasons (the white version seems easier to do so). And yea it does pick up dirt etc. super easily so maintenance is also an issue.

I know this is an anti-Adidas channel 😉 but I don’t get how you can compare Nike’s standard (non collab) offerings to the Terrex Freehiker/Skychaser etc even the ZX 2K gtx with obvious Y3 influence. The build quality is so much superior, the materials (especially when it comes to the Continental soles) blow anything Nike can do IMO. Adidas support competition and new sporting arenas, Nike just contract talent and market bomb the environment. Nike may be aesthetically pleasing (to you, I think they’re often childish) but isn’t it the technical aspects that matter? Maybe it’s been explained in the past, maybe I’m a biased Adi fanboi, but I just don’t get it. That all said, love the content 👌

They’re objectively worse than Adidas and most other brands when it comes to competition and practice. I’m realistic, I don’t hate the player hate the game, I don’t hate Nike, I just don’t buy it.

Theres a problem with my pair. Theres thin lines of wet marks formed between the midsole and the nubuck toecaps on both shoe. At first i thought its glue stains, but its wet. I think what happened is the shoes dont have good ventilation so the moisture just saps out from the nubuck toecaps. I dont even have sweaty feet(and i dont feel sweaty in them), and its the middle of the winter right now, so i can already see how bad this will be in the hotter time of the year😔 i love the shoes but this make me super uncomfortable to wear them, and i cant return a sweat stained shoes

Ah man that sucks. I'll keep an eye out on these ones, hopefully it's not an issue with all of them. If you bought from Nike directly iirc their returns policy covers them being worn/dirty so you might be OK, particularly if it's a flaw
