Here is a detailed video review of the upcoming Nike Command Force "Billy Hoyle" colorway. This video details a bit of the history of the sneaker as well as an on foot look at the sneakers. Definitely one of the highest top sneakers released, and made popular from 2 avenues in the 1990's: David Robinson on the Spurs, and Billy Hoyle (Woody Harrelson) from the movie "White Men Can't Jump". In that movie a couple other sneakers to note were the Nike Flight Lite, and the always popular Air Jordan 6 Black Infrared, which drops again this year for Black Friday.
The Command Force was 1 of 3 Nike models with a "pump" feature, the other 2 were the Nike Air Pressure and the Nike Air 180 Command Force. It was a short lived time for the Nike pump, and rumor had it was because of copyright issues since Reebok had the "pump" already. I have also heard that patents only last for 20 years, so maybe that is why we are finally seeing these come back 20 years later? These sneakers definitely have a part of history and I am glad to see them return!

This has been my favourite sneaker for 2-3 years (haven't been able to get myself a pair) and a love the whole air force collection apart from air force 1's, and I'm only 15. So I wouldn't say that it is just for the older generation but a pretty dope video!

A few things. #1: White Men Can't Jump is easily one of my favorite movies from childhood, up there with Point Break, Die Hard, and Back To The Future 2. #2: The Air Command Force was a MUST COP. Found a pair on eBay for $177 shipped, so I ordered that way. $200 is a bit steep, but considering how much they sold for originally, that's not really a stretch. When I was a kid, there was NO WAY my Mom was buying those (or the Air Force 180 Pump) for me, so it'll be amazing to finally get them on feet. #3: I'm extremely sad I slept on those Emerald Air Force 180's. It definitely sucks they were missing the pump, but they were still clean in that CW. I'll definitely be getting the Emerald Command Forces when they drop (so long as they aren't super-limited, as rumored). #4: They look dope with the Tech Fleece sweats!

Great video. I just have questions in regards to the fit. Do these fit true to size?? Bigger than the indicated size?? Or do they fit smaller than the indicated size??

You are correct on the 180 air pumps air release button. Around the air release was a dial that you could rotate and pump the lower separate from the upper. The Burton was junk though and mine only lasted about a month before it came off. The shoes were heavy as cinder blocks as well. I worked so hard to earn the money for them ($150.00) when I was in middle school, and I felt so let down. Awesome looking shoe though...

Hey man are these comfortable? I was really disappointed with the 180's...my true size is 11 and I had to go up a full size up because my pinky toe would hit..I'm afraid these would be the same..I just wanna make sure before I drop a pretty $200 on them ...Cuz I want them baaad! Lol

I was in the 7th grade when these came out (1991 Command Force). The Wesley Snipes joints were the white/florescent pink/black colorway for the Nike Air Flight Lite "Sydney Deane". The Command Force is on my grail list hopefully someday I'll find a pair in my size.

Wesley Snipes did wear those shoes (Nike Air Flight Lites), but in a different colorway. I have a vintage pair of the white/black/red ones he wore. I wanna make a review of them. =)

Have em for a week. Like em and feel comfortable; they look heavy but feel light. toe box shields are a must. wear them with chino joggers and look great. may double up. certainly a must for the OG sneaker nut!

***** Are they really gonna be that limited? I've seen articles about them being super-limited, but I'm hoping they're wrong. That would be stupid to limit an OG CW like that, but it's happened many times before. Btw, have either of you guys (***** ) had the issue with the tongue squeaking/making noise when walking? I've heard that that's a common issue with this particular shoe (and other 90's shoes with high tongues like that), but I'm hoping it doesn't happen with all pairs. I've heard that you can fix it easily by rubbing sandpaper on the areas that rub against the collar, but I'd rather not do that if possible.
