Nike Air Max 1 "Chili 2.0": Review & On-Feet

The "Chili" Air Max 1 from 2003 recently released thirty years later with slight changes to it. Built in typical Air Max 1 fashion, it's crafted using a mix of meshes and synthetic suedes, and the simple colour blocking ensures it will be a very easy shoe to wear often. As a AM1 freak that I am, I copped these for for the simple fact that it’s a easy color-way to wear. Yes, I agree the materials could of been better but if you appreciate the big bubble that came out earlier this year then it’s a worth it. So...if it was the original chili version, I would've copped. But I made a version on nike ID almost identical to them, except I used a gum sole. Thanks for the review and it looks amazing

This pair was nailed the toe. For some recent pairs of am1 nike made a bit more boxedd and square toe. Appreciate for the comeback of 2017 smells toe box in red chilli retro

Great review and thanks! Im getting these and the deep royal blue . I prefer these over the.big bubble bc I don’t like how the big bubbles crunches down and these version supports the air bubble better, But I’m tired of Nike just changing one small thing and making it a new realest and a big deal, I’m a collector since 95 and when everyone has the same shoes or similar , it takes away from having something unique. If you were collecting since those days, you’ll remember ppl. turning heads and wishing they had your shoes. Now I look, big the wow factor is way gone and everyone has the classics Nikes on. Back then only the cool ppl. who knew about sneaker had the best shoes and way before KZbin to tell ppl. on what to get and buy, back then you went to a shoe store and pick the one you like and you made that choice and not someone else . I mean the internet is helpful and I use it all the time, but looses what the individual choice. Back then I could be rickin’ a shoes no one rise had or wearing. Meaning not just the Colorway, but air max 1 or 95, or 97. Yup and for months I would see anyone else with the same shoes on. You had to step inside acting machine to know how that felt like and I know times have changed, but still.

Comfort different than the big bubbles? It took a couple wears but my am1 og big bubbles feel wonderful after break in!
