Hey Chris, just from personal experience I can tell you that there is an easy way to avoid "nipple chaffing" and generally have a better experience during sports. Instead of synthetic shirts, try cotton. It's more breathable, doesn't scratch and doesn't stink as much. As synthetics tend to harbor more bacteria, in part due to the fact you need to wash it at lower temperature and the air flow through the material is worse. Also small synthetic fibres removed during washing end up in water streams which is also a bad thing for the environment and health, as those tiny microfibers might just end up in freshwater organisms and move up the food chain and end up on your plate. I could go on about the pros of natural vs synthetic clothing but there is enough info out there on the internetz anyway. The only downside I could see performance wise would be, that you kind of need to have a spare shirt to change in longer sessions, as cotton does absorb water, while synthetics repel it (so they dry up quicker). Sorry for the environmental rant, :) but I really think it doesn't hurt to know what you wear. Thank you for the great content as usual and wish all the best to you and your family! ;)

These were a graduation present I bought myself when I graduated college in 1991. I bought them at retail for $130, back then. Had them for 10 years ( they became house shoes with no laces lol) recently, bought the same pair just last year for $60, but the new release did not have the plastic patch on the back, just Nike Air embroidery. Thanks, for the the great Video. Mine were the Kelly green and lime pair.

Yep as a 44 year old all my mates were wearing these back in the day. You are right the toe is a bit soft and kinks a bit. The OG's never did this...Apart from that these are bang on.

Very true that INFRARED they talk about now was originally a hot pink borderline orange. My max 90s back then were referred to as the SE 3's. West London.

The model between the 1 and 3 is called today the light, why it's not popular it's a mystery... however I just bought a pair of Volts, that color along with the fluorescent pink orange that today is called infrared was were popular in the early 90s, I had a backpack in fluorescent yellow back in high school.

Just looked it up the og colorway was called radiant red if you look up pictures of the og boxes it says RD Red. The Volt colorway is from 2012. And it is slightly different. As far as my knowledge reaches and the internet lets me search back there were no volts released prior to 2012.

I’ve owned the Nike Air Max 90 Infrared 100 times over(Sidebar you’re right I use to workout in them and hella uncomfortable, had to switch the Nike Air Trainer III High Bo Jackson what a difference!) Jacob Kjerulff I was surprised, I have a few mates in Nike stores and stuff, the men’s that I saw was all over, some looked fine, but most, the grey was way too dark, the volt was too green rather than yellow a green, I’ve seen the back shield crooked too and another complaint is the box because it’s just tooo thin, everyone wants it ever so slightly bigger, but the box confuses me because they still did the women’s and kids

I love 90s and the look of these, but i am with you on the foam at the back of the air cushion being different, where the z groove runs between the foam and the air unit, i find it perishes fast and splits in newer models of air max 90s. Ive written to nike, who say they will try and improve the quality, but gives a short life on a great shoe
