NIKE AIR TECH CHALLENGE 2 2024- Hot lava review, comparisons of previous models, and thoughts

The 2024 retro is set to release. What do we all think about this?

Had the originals. Think I bought them from a Mervyns. Always been a “I only need one pair of shoes” kind of guy but lately been looking at a lot of the cool stuff out, and happened to think, “man nothing compares to the Agassi Nikes I had as a kid.” Disappointed I missed the previous re-releases but hope I don’t miss this one.

I bought the original in 1989 and that kick-started my obsession with Agassi and his outfits. I'm going to definitely buy the ATC2 when they come out this year.

One of my all time favorite sneakers. I've got many colorways and I'll continue to be fan. If these sit and can be picked up @ under retail I'd snag multiples. I know that the YEEZY midsole is from the ATCII , so this drives a few more eyeballs to the product.

I CANNOT wait for these. Wanted these even before 2014. I was too busy then to coo back then and resell on them older pairs isn't to my liking. I loved Agassi and in the 90's (tennis in general) and I still own his sega videogame with the nike product placement in game. I had his racket too! I loved all the 90s tennis stars actually. Cant wait for Changs shoe to come stateside.

Great video! This shoe is probably my second favorite of all-time (behind only the Air Tech Challenge 3.) I believe we will see the ATC 3 retro'd next year.

In 2014 I got every one of the OG colours I could get my hands on, BUT the Hot Lava slipped through my hands... Then 2019 came around, I saw it on the shelf at my local nike store and when I had it in hand I thought, 'THIS IS IT'. After looking at it closely, I was pretty disappointed. I couldn't have that crap sitting next to all my 2014 retros. I picked up the Lebron 16 Hot Lava instead that day.

I had these in 89 and some drunk Australian backpackers threw them out the window of the youth hostel I was staying in. They got a bit scuffed but survived the three storey fall lol

It is a custom, not made by Nike I added the logo on the shirt but you can get the shirt from volliax tennis he has great throwback shirts from McEnroe to Michael Chang to all the Agassi ones. They are great and a good price.

It's a glorious thing that they're coming back. I get 2 pairs. Now, does anyone know who designed the ATC 1? Cause ATC II is clearly an evolution of the first generation.
