Great sneaker! As a competitive youth tennis player in the late 80's and early 90's, I vividly remember Agassi wearing these. They were the 'Jordans' for young tennis players and, during that era, tennis was cool (at least in Florida) and these were the sneakers to have. Interestingly, they stole a lot of tech and design from the Jordan 4; put them side by side and compare. Happy you did this video....those are nostalgic for me!

Still have the ‘08 version and just recently at the beginning of ‘24 the sole let loose but the rest of the shoe still looks good even the creasing, so I brought them to a repair shop and am now waiting for a return… was THE sneaker I wore the most of all and offcourse hope to get my hands on a ‘24 pair also but is one of my favourite sneakers of all time!!

Bro, I had these back in 1989 in 8th grade. These were my first pair of Nike's that had the air bubble on the side of the sneaker. I wanted a pair of Jordan 4's for Christmas, but my parents bought me these instead. All my friends got the Jordan 4's ☹️. I just recently picked up a new pair of Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 QS Lava's online. It brings me back to my childhood days. Great video!!

I have 3 pair of air tech challenge 2 , ,turbo green, Grey blue suede and black with purple suede..I m a bboy and a m breaking with them in all surfaces for at least 7-8yrs , if I was only wearing them for walk they would look brand new, super smooth super comfortable super fresh . I even washed them in the wash machine they r just unbreakable .. it's so sad it's no more on shops only eBay...and they keep some unreal prices..

I love mine. Mine ain't this beat but they get worn. The creases add character but I remember being a kid and the fly guys would have that whole Agassi fit to match with the big chain and that imagery stuck with me.
