I’ve played on all 3 levels to my 30’s when I started developing Achilles insertion tendinitis and these Bb nxt are the best shoe I have ever played in since def recommended for players with same problems you explained the space on heel that is great because those are the tender parts for me so nothing rubbing there but not losing support because of Achilles cushion is great the curve of the shoe and springiness of shoe amazing I’ve gone through 3 pairs now and have yet to turn my ankle I do still jump a lot and pretty fast as a guard thanks for the reviews def spot on with this 1 just depends what type of player you are.

I am always confused why basketball shoe tractions are still a hit or miss. They should just find a tried and true pattern and a tough material for outdoor and just use it throughout. Probably save on the R&D cost and they can mass produce the same sole.

I think him being so light is what contributes to his sensation of him being off of the ground trying to roll. A 200 lb man is gonna compress that react a lot more and I think they made these shoes with bigger men in thought cause most big men play basketball. When your light you kinda sit up high on top of the foam. That’s what I think though. Bigger guys with more weight hold a much lower sense of gravity. But idk.
@g.berwald53123 жыл бұрын
You are right. Its for heavier players and players who don't move that quick.Great impact protection, so if you have bad knees or are recovering from hard workout or injury this is a good option.

I love these as kicks, but I agree that the lack of court feel/height really hurt my guard play. These are fantastic tho when I'm on the blocks & in the paint tho. I think they would be best served for big men & ball handling forwards. But man they're great to just wear casually....pretty expensive tho for them to not be more versatile performance wise.

Thank you for the review. Two questions...I don’t play basketball but am a professional jump rope coach and am looking for a shoe with a lot of forefoot cushioning. Most bball shoe reviews talk mostly about the heel cushion. Do you think this shoe would be springy to provide a pro jump roper loads of bounce? Second question is about how high the top is. I just bought the Lebron 17s and I just find them really uncomfortable due to the fact that I haven’t wore a pair of shoes that comes up over my ankle for about 20 years. Do these come up over the ankle like the Lebron 17s? Thank you so much 😊

Why do they do that curved outsole thing not for more basketball shoes? I have been playing in my old dame 4 shoes outdoors and they have this kind of sole shape as well and it just feels fantastic and natural to move around in them. Much more stable and in control compared to other shoes. I don't think you need a clunky stable shoe, instead it's much better to have a natural shoe which conformes to how your foot is shaped, this automatically makes you more stable and secure in your movements
