Its more budget friendly than other nike shoes, you cant expect it to be perfect. It is a really good shoe for its price

Here in india these make great all rounders. The reason being it's hot here and sneakers are not comfortable at all, so you would find most people preferring a running shoe for better breathability and comfort. Both the downshifter and revolution will do a great job in that part.

Thanks Ry Deg. I recently walked one week in a new city that I visited, I wore Nike Revolution 6, I think its hard to beat at it's price. Incredibly comfortable, light and great cushioning that gives an almost magic rebound even when just walking.

I think you'd be surprised at just how wonderful Nike Revolution 6 is for walking. Downshifter 12 is indeed very plush but not enough ankle support for the increased height of the foam midsole, high risk of ankle rolling over and ankle sprain, it happened to me many times in Downshifter 12. I only focus on Nike running shoes so that's all I can advise on, maybe have a look at Nike Free Run 5.0? I'll be doing a full review on these soon.

Rev 6 estandart versión, Rev 6 Ext w has extra mindsole, an the flyease Is the dame as Rev 6 but with velcros instead shoelaces

Just bought the Revolution 6. Not only does it cost cheaper than the Downshifter 12 in our Nike Factory Outlet Store. But it seems it has a better support at the midsole and the heel than the Downshifter...Glad I made the right choice, and supported by the video....Revolution is also more comfortable and lively to wear too

I own the revolution 6. In all black. I ran a 5k race with them. (They did fine) They are pretty flat though. Little to no arch support. They are my gym shoes now and I replaced them for Nike pegasus 40's. The pegs are worth double the money. Pretty nice for just run training shoes.
