Sean, I understand your reaction to the shoe based on the quality of your pair. However, I disagree with not having this as a cop. This is because of the simple colorway and based off how the pandas have done, even with restocks, I think these are a must have. I’m also a little biased, I hit on these and not the pandas.

if you pay for the top dollar fakes (150ish) is possibly better material , but stay away from SB fakes, they mess up on the tongue / overall shoe shape / zoom unit / etc. These non-sb's are easier for them to "replicate"

@@ToddPalms I used to do a lot of work that touched on QA/QC at footwear factories. Without going into too much depth, I can say that what we are seeing now is the combination of replica manufacturers applying what they learnt in the major contract factories - where pretty much all the owners/senior staff started their careers - to their own products, and what contract shoe factories are able to produce given the ferocious Nike demands for ongoing cost reductions. Whilst not my speciality, I have been advised Nike is well aware that SBs, Jordans etc sell on brand name alone and with careful product drops, collabs, marketing etc,. it sells an image more than a quality product...and does so very well.

I have started to prefer suede, or even canvas mainly because of creasing unless the quality is top notch. I have 3 pairs of Jordan lows and they crease worse than any other shoe I own. Don’t have leather dunks. Good vid sir.

i think ur going a bit overboard sayiing these aren't even worth retail price haha. I feel they did a decent job and at least made the navy parts of real leather, leaving the grey as cheapo pleather. I think some GRs like Cobalt had all synthetic pleather sh*t

Hey Sean, great review on the Georgetowns! I was curious on which size I should get for the dunk lows. I am a size 9 in the ultra boost 1.0 and usually you go a half size up for these. Should I go a half size down or stick with a 9 for the dunk lows?

Are you true to size 9? I know UB 1.0 fits a bit snug sometimes so maybe 8.5 may fit better for these Dunks.

Do SB Dunk Lows / Dunk Low Premium / General Releases fit differently? I notice in some of your sb dunk low videos (e.g. FTC / Parra), you go with 10.5, whereas in this video, you go with 10?

SBs have a padded tongue, thicker insole, and padded heel collar, so that’s why I go up a half size

It’s a shame that the quality in so many of those Nike dunks are so poor. It’s understandable considering that they only retail for $100.00 USD. They problem arises when some unfortunate soul decides to pay resell for those shoes. Double the price for a shoe that will more than likely crease horribly after the first wear is not a good feeling.

I have a couple dunks and they don't crease but I don't know if it's because I don't bend much in them or because I use pillow insole in it and then immediately put a store shoe tree in it. However, just because I don't walk in them and take better care of them than most people, it's sad how sorry they make these and how great they make any collabs for literally the same price. Makes absolutely no sense.

it's hard to say ALL the GR (non-sb) dunks have trash quality. Them new NBA Chicago's have better leather than most the GR's. I had them Lemon Drop Womens (GR) and the leather/nubuck was good. Then there's the suede non-sb's which are great quality materials, i have the Ceramic and Dusty Olive they are good
