These give me the same feeling as the original crazylight boosts back in 2016- the cushioning compared to other hoop shoes is next level. Haven't been this excited about the introduction of new tech in a hoop shoe since then, and have not been disappointed!

OMG! I've SERIOUSLY waited my entire adult athletic life for these! I was truly skeptical at first until I tried them on, bought them, then took them directly to my local health club court that's dusty as all hell and dominated for 7 games against kids half my age with a horribly off game set where the light, responsiveness, grip like suction cups, and lateral stability not running shoe like all surprised the hell outta me as if I was running the court in a premium running shoe! These are LEGIT!!!

Listen... I thought the EXACT same! ... That is until I tried them on at the store! I took them directly to our dusty local health club and found out that these are LEGIT running shoes with in a basketball oriented form! I will be 50 this summer and at 5'5" you've gotta defend, run the point, pass on a dime as well as cut, laterally move and jump the same way! These are hands down the BEST performing shoe I've ever worn! I was going to go see if I could find the academy at one of the other mall stores and turned around went back and bought these bc they fit the way they did! Chris was correct in saying that these "feel fun!" I work overnights and after last night's play should by all rights be stiff and sore as hell below the waist and am at work RN feeling like I haven't even stepped foot in the gym the night before! I have had both hips replaced going on 7 years ago and was SERIOUSLY contemplating hanging up basketball for swimming and E biking (full suspension) now after last night I CAN NOT WAIT to get back on the court again tonight! These are THAT good! Get them before they become sold out EVERYWHERE!

just got my pair from a retailer today, it's very interesting how my first reaction was also " damn these are fun". The traction feels awesome, the rubber feels really sticky, and the heel to toe transition is impeccable, very smooth. However, I would say the court feel isn't that great comparing to the ja 1s, Kyrie's, and kobe's, cuz it feels a little high off ground. The cushioning feels new to me, it doesn't have the compressive feeling of a zoom unit, but rather feels soft. There's a visible grey pebax plate (or whatever it's called) under the rubber, and it allows you to have a quick explosive comeback when you do stuff like the rocker step. Overall, very interesting shoes! (ps. in my opinion, if you are buying the ep versions, you should go down half a size)

@@Bask5 the GT Cut are 3 are lighter, more comfortable, better cushioning, better traction, better build quality. The Academy are more similar to the Ja1 and are good shoes too. We have both.

I work for a professional basketball team in Taiwan (the same league as Jeremy Lin), and I get to play ball with a lot of professional players here, if that answers your concern😂

Reminds me of the old Alpha Project, the line that kinda pioneered the way for the Hyperfuse line or something. The kicks that had the transparent heel counter. They came out around the time of the Ultraposites, Flightposite 3s, Hyperdunks and VCs Shox. I think Gary Payton wore them in LA

Can't wait to get them on court- the CUt 2 was an aterthought (and w/ the ankle slippage of that shoe demmed super dangerous), the cut 3 really has lot of potential. We shall see " if you don't wipe your shoes, are. youreally a basketball player" really got me.. LOL

I mean, nike has air, zoom air , max zoom air , cushlon and react ( lunrlon too) using carbon and tpu sping plates since the 90'.. saying Nike is late at anything is fun..😅 probably they were working on how to use zoomx properly for years.. true though that other brands have been using foams earlier

The sole is similar to the material used on Lebron 17’s. Picks up dust easily and need to be wiped every possession to have a proper grip. The sole is very grippy specially on clean squeaky courts.

i really like basketball shoes that look and feel like running shoes like this series . for my style of play is ideal.when i seldom play outdoors for fun with kids wearing my running shoes is always more comfort and free but lacks of support and cushion.that gap is filled with the built of this bballshoe .if only this upper close to the toes area wasn't kind of square shape .it should have been one piece connected with the rest upper.very good design! not the price though! only on bargain to buy.these recycled synthetic materials are all crap to pay for 190 ! thanks for the presentation!

I played in the GT Cut 3s for 6+ hours now and they attract a lot of dust. Playing basketball is super annoying if you have to wipe after every other play. Maybe solid rubber will be better? Idk has anyone had the same experience? Do they get better? Thinking about returning them already lol

Forefoot cushion is str8 dookie 💩 🚮. You don’t feel any plushness, impact protection, nor compression. All you feel is the damn floor. I’m disappointed but not surprised. Nike be trippin. They should’ve made the ZoomX thicker in the forefoot and less caged all across the shoe. The upper isn’t terrible but could be better. Do zoom strobel and softer ZoomX for the GT Cut 4s
