Hey Josh, I recently got these boots (Motion Blur Hypervenom Phantom 3) and I noticed that while the flyknit on the launch colorway was completely exposed, the motion blur had white covering on it. 1) will this impact performance and 2) are there any other differences between the two colorways? They're the same. The difference is the coloring of the Nikeskin top layer, that's it. Purely aesthetic.

Sizing is the same, and the general shape is similar, but the Flyknit upper makes for a different feel overall.

Hey Josh, I was just wondering. I bought a pair of hypervenom phantom 3s in the low cut variation in size 10.5. I have a pair of legend 7s in a size 10.5 as well. The tiempos feel amazing in a size 10.5, but the hypervenoms feel so tight to a point I can't even wiggle my toes. Are they meant to be this tight or will they stretch after they're broken in?

How much of a "thumb" would you say you have at the tip of your boots usually? I have had top model mercurial 10's and 11's, tiempo anticlog, and the first generation of the magista opus, all of which have somewhat of a "tongueless" design. I have all of these in a size 10 US but the only cleats that seem to bunch in the tongue are the vapors, which confuses me because they are supposed to be the most narrow fit. Do your boots fit like a glove or do you have a centimeter or so free at the tip of your cleat?

i have heelproblems with my phantom 3. the heelpart at the back is in my opinion higher than on other boots. it puts a lot of pressure against my achilles tendon. it hurts so much that its really hard to play in them. they're definitely breaked in btw, do you have any tipps how i solve my problem? ps : sry for my bad english

It definitely isn't unusually high towards the back. The issue you're having seems to be specific to you. Are you possibly wearing low-cut socks while wearing the boot, leaving your achilles tendon exposed against the back of the shoe? That will almost always cause discomfort.

i compared my veloce 2 and my phantom 3 and it's definitely higher. and no im wearing normal match socks.what i'm doing is that i put tape under my insole so my feet are higher in the boot so the back of the shoe does not put pressure against my achilles tendon
