Nike Invincible 3 vs Asics Gel Nimbus 25: Which is the best running shoe for easy runs

Bought the nike 3 and tried it on and I had a little heel slippage as well. I gave them a try on the treadmill and once I started my pace it went away for some reason lol no joke

Today i went out to buy the invincible 3. The salesperson recommended to give the nimbus 25 a try coz he said its the best shoe he has ever worn and admitted that he hasnt tried any invincible runs before. So i wore both to try on each foot and in my honest opinion in terms comfyness i still prefered the invincible run 3 however right then and there i felt the slipage from the heels wich i had the same problem with invincible run 2. The nimbus is a lil bit harder on the cushoning on the heels but really soft on the middle wich i liked. Also the nimbus 25 feels like its wrapped around my feet wich made it feel like its abit tight for me. I decided to go for the nimbus 25 just becoz of the comfort it gives on middle cushon for me. I could have bought both shoes but i have some priorities for xmas😂😂. I will buy the invincible 3 on january. Its okay to watch youtube reviews for some reference but the best way to get the best shoes for u would be going to the shop and trying it out for yourself. These youtubers sometimes are biased on their reviews.

I noticed the instability instantly with the Invincible 3's. Complete deal breaker. I bought the Gel Nimbus 25's and have zero regrets.

I have both and I still need to put more miles into them, but my initial impressions are that the Nimbus 25 is the better shoe. It's more comfortable with a smoother ride. It's really the upper that stands out. The Invincible Run 3, for me, has been letdown compared to the v2. It looks sleeker than v2 but is heavier, bulkier, and just more cumbersome to run in. AND it's not as bouncy and fun. I much prefer v2 (which I have two pairs of and will probably get another or two to stock up on for the future before they're gone) and also much prefer the Nimbus 25, More v4, and SC Trainer over the IRv3. I only have 25 miles into the v3 so perhaps it will grow on me more over time but it's just not an exciting and fun shoe. Overall, I agree with Kieran and Tom in their assessments of v3: Nimbus is better.

I'm currently a non runner looking for ultimate comfort and came across the nimbus in various chats on youtube. Have to admit I haven't tried the zoom x nikes but really appreciate this split review (yes these Nikes have been part of my research). Great to hear different takes on 2 very sort after kicks. My use will be 14 hour days on feet so more of a leisure/daily shoe but hey, makes sense I'm here right. Just bought the nimbus 25, I need all black for work which pushes me this way sp for those looking for a really decent work shoe that fits corporate.. I'll feedback after a whole show week in the 25's. Excited to see how they compare to your everyday 'trainer'. Managed to bag mine for approx. £100 2024. Thanks for the decent reviews

I am not a fan of the Invincible line. I went to my running shoe retailer's store. The manager did not recommend the Nimbus 25, but I pushed back and tried it on. With about 30 miles in them they are a definite keeper. A wonderful plush ride to compliment my Boston 11s

Firstly , want to clarify all of you that , It lot depends on my own perspective and my personal foot fit comfort , and Geometry Of My Foot. I realised those things in week that I have describe bellow. Nike is ultimate running shoe and it is very comfortable than Asics Gel Nimbus 25/26 and it propel you further with most energy returns in this criteria ❤ Most Propulsive Shoe between these two is Nike Invincible Run 3 ❤👑🤴 Using Gel Nimbus 25 for a week with Average run of 4 km I felt that shoe has lesser comfort than before when it was new. Nike Invincible Run 3 doesn't losses it's comfort especially ultimate high comfort within same use of a week for same distance Run and it never felt me any discomfort and due to Geometry of your foot in Nike make you propel forward more propulsion forward with most energy return in this segment also it's Geometry makes you Run Faster than any other shoe in this criteria. Nike Invincible Run 3 is the King 👑 🤴 shoe in this criterion of Non-polycarbonate plate shoes. Nike is King 🤴 🙌. One worst thing about Asics Gel Nimbus 25 is its upper which is not breathable , that is very much disappointment for me from this shoe. Gel Nimbus 25's upper is not breathable, I felt more sweat than before in Nike Invincible Run 3 , Nike Vomero 17 and in my personal daily use shoes that I've used most and Run most in this shoe is Nike Flex for 6 year. Also Gel Nimbus 25 gets heated up in high temperature and humidity conditions and make me feel heated up in feet and also from outsole , which I've never felt before in any Nike Shoes. It is my personal opinion about both the shoes , it lot depends upon Geometrical structure of my foot and also due to morphology of my foot along with homeostasis process of my body because I'm getting too much sweet than generally other people gets. Hence , Due To Geometrical Foot Position in Shoe and Structure of Shoe I prefer Nike Invincible Run 3 most which makes you land on forfoot with exceptional propelling with ultimate comfort and second one is Vomero 17 but you can still wait for Nike Invincible Run 4 accordingly rumours and previous models launch event, it could be launch in next few months because that shoe is much significant upgrade over Run 3 accordingly other guys issues of heel slip and other too. Now , I am waiting for Nike Invincible Run 4 over Run 3 for my second Invincible pair of shoes. Also, want you to know now on discount Asics Gel Nimbus 25 is good shoe probably than other brands except Nike. Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 has good breathable upper over Gel Nimbus 25 but not much comfy as Gel Nimbus 25.

From all the reviews, I read about the Gel-Nimbus 25 is that it is a relaxing cruising running shoes.that would perfectly replace my Adidas Solar Glide 5 since both are not nimble high cushioning shoes. They are focused in running with comfort at slow speeds. The Nike Invincible 3 would be for me something, silimar of what the Adidas Ultraboost 22 was : a heavy and super comfortable shoe that that can be very agile and nimble to pickup the pace. The Solar Glide 5 and the Ultraboost 22 had about the same weight but one was a lot more versatile then the other. If you are a huge fan of comfortable high cushioning running shoes.then it is totally possible to handle and rotate bettewn both Invincible 3 and the Gel-Nimbus 25 !

The reviews of the nimbus on asic's website are not so good. I am happy I watched this video and read the comments here. Looks like nimbus is not a bad shoe. The reviews on asic's site make the shoe seem like a horrible investment. I am sort of new to running so I don't know what's good or bad. I have asic noosa tri 13 and I like them, but they're old and need to be replaced.

Nimbus 25 is polarizing , a hate it or love it shoe. The 24 feels a bit more springy better walking shoes. But the 25 is slightly firmer `taller and makes you want to run easy pace. If you never have the 24, I think you won’t complain about 25.

I loved this review, and I went to Dickes Sporting. The Nikes slipped on my heels, and the fronts felt bulky & heavy. Nimbus, for me, personally felt more comfy, but I also compared New Balance & Brooke's. After going back & and forth, the New Balances beat the Nikes & Nimbus. But for me, the best comfortable shoe I finally purchased was Brooke's Glycerin.❤❤❤

Can I ask about what do you think about the outsole of the Nimbus 25? It seems to me that it has little rubber on the heel zone, which can cause wear on the midsole that is exposed... but what is your real experience?

good information. i would advise you to make each presenter's voice volume similar. its jarring when going from a quite voice (had to increase volume) to suddenly sound blaring from my speakers, and vice versa.

I wear the Nimbus 25 for a run last week after 4k I was feeling something on my foot thought something had got in the shoe by the Time I got to 7k new there was something wrong took the shoe of and I had developed a blister on the sole of my foot something that’s never happened to me before

I had a similar issue with both the Invincibles 3 and the Nimbus 25 and after reading comments here on youtube and reddit, I found out that the width of these shoes is the issue. Luckily the Nimbus 25 I got has different width sizes and was still under the return time frame. So I returned it and got a different width which is definitely better(see my profile's picture of my Nimbus 25). I'll never buy any Nike Invincibles until they offer different widths!

I would go nimbus. Nike invincible 3 just doesn't feel as cushioned. I also have the asics superblast and that is my favorite. Very cushioned and great ride.

Sadge, this video showed me, that none of your run testers has comparable feet to mine. I have a quite wide toebox and run the Invincible and to be fair, its annoying. Heel Slip is a catastrophe and you just have to get used to it. The Middle foot is way to narrow, so when i tie them accordingly, my feet get numb. It`s a shame, expecially since everybody said the Invincible 2 where much better....the cushioning in the middle sole however is top notch! ZoomX just works, (I have the Vaporfly 3 and i love them!)

Since they ruined the 3, I should buy an Invincible 1 or 2 on sale before they disappear. The pair I bought last year has 178 miles on it, and both shoes have wear near the lateral side of the heels.

The Nike is too unstable and gives a sloppy ride. I also had heel slip and achilles rub. Pretty sure this is a lifestyle shoe as that is where Nike makes its money.

Looked at both the other Day, and tried them out. Tbh the Asics felt like a max cush running shoe. The Nike felt Line a sneaker….. not a running shoe. But hey, maybe my feet are just not “Nike feet”. To each their own.

Really disappointed in the Nike V3. Had the V2 and both are still unstable and wear down pretty quickly. After 15 miles , I already have some wear in the outer sole and some heel slippage. The nimbus 25 is built with better quality and is less expensive.

I hope all of you realize what a confusing and Monumental waste of 28 minutes this video is? I mean, you guys contradict each other from one's the next on pretty much point-for-point. One says the Nikes too big, the other says it's too tight, one says the Asics is too big and another says the asics is too tight. Someone claims that the Nike has the broader range of activity while someone else claims that the asics has the broadest a range of activity. So you dragged the poor you are through nearly half-an-hour of their lives that they will never get back leaving them more confused than they ever were when they begin to watch this video. Generally I like y'alls reviews but occasionally y'all do make conflicting statements about the same shoe. And this particular review it was just so glaringly obvious and so unnecessarily long, that I cannot help but to say something. I feel like you robbed me of a half an hour. LOL! And I know even less that I did going in.
