Great content. I’m using the Zoom Fly 5 and at 58 I’m only running the 5km at 27:07. I’ve picked up a small injury on my right heel fat pad as I’m a heel striker. I’m thinking of buying the invincible for my training runs 3 times a week and just using my Fly 5’s on race day as I want to get under 25:00 without getting injured. I’m enjoying my running having gone from 105kgs to 78kgs by walking over 8 years and only returned to running aged 57

Invincible 3 was the most uncomfortable shoe I’ve ever worn! Upper cut into my feet, really bad heel slip etc. didn’t work for me. Zoom Fly 5 is fantastic shoe! Perfect for daily Runs and longer distances

I have both and don’t think they can be compared at all. While both are daily trainers, the invincibles are a max cushion shoe for easy runs and the zoomflys are a plated shoe for workouts and long runs

we think and are similar in that I am thinking about racing in my zoom fly 5 (kipchoge colours) and probably they will be enough because I will not get any faster than 4.20 pace per km. had alphaflies and sold them for about 100 dollars and got a second hand zoom flies for about 70 dollars. only wore alphaflies twice in two years whereas I think I will probably wear zoom flies more for speedwork as you mentioned.

How is the durability of these shoes?I had the Invincible 2 in rotation with my Infinity Run 3. I run about 3-4X or 20-25k per week. The Invincible 2 sole broke after just 390 km while I’m at 736 km now with the Infinity 2 (and I should retire this soon). I’m having second thoughts about getting the Invincible 3 because of this. Is the Zoom Fly 5 a better option? Great review by the way!

Seems like the nice upper on the invincible 1 has been replaced with one of those cheap barely there uppers on the invincible 3. What else would you compare invincible to for daily wear?

I bought the invincible 3s in Navy. What a POS shoe they are. Everything possible to screw up a running sneaker.....Nike did. Hugely wide, completely unstable, upper is plastic crap, less interior cushioning, uncomfortable, worse ventilation and looks 10 times better online on images and videos. People were saying, is that a heightened weird shoe. No carbon plate and forefoot is awful. ZoomX gets dirty and wrinkles. There is a reason they tried to stabilize the shoe. Let's charge 180 plus for it. I didn't buy it fir running. I buy real running shoes to run in. I bought it for comfort and looks and it looks like a clown shoe that is so unstable with that foam. It is like Nike was purposefully clowning the consumer. They do that often. I even want to return them after a week and I never return shoes. I didn't even want to wear them for looks. It's like you are wearing special shoes for clubbed feet. Holy wide to try and stabilize that crappy marshmallow.

Lmao buy a walking shoe then. I3 are amazing. It’s a versatile heavily cushioned trainer meant for easy/long runs that have the ability to do everything . One of Nikes best shoes to date.

I've run in a RUNNING SHOE more than minutes you've been "alive". My entire point was....that these shoes aren't for running and clowns like you. They fail, even as a "walking" or pretty "Sneakerhead" shoe. I have over 1000 pairs of shoes and have donated half to charities over my life and more. You have bought one pair because it's pretty and someone told you to collect it. Get off of mom's couch. I go to you for shoes.
