On my 2 week old kd9's the connector from the middle to the toe in the sole cracked and all of the air in the zoom unit came out so I basically blew $150 to have a shoe for 2 weeks. I had high hopes for the shoe and it actually formed great up until it broke. I am 13 and 105 pounds so I am not heavy at all for the majority of people that would buy the shoe, so I was quite surprised when it gave in. In my opinion I wouldn't risk buying them again

I have the KD9 normal version my true size, but I feel a lot of room in the point of the shoe... At some point it feels pretty unstable when I play... Do you recommend going half size down on this version?

yeah its easier to wear than the regular kd9's but i suggest that you go half a size up cuz the shoe is really fucking narrow

Nike doesn't fix the toe zoom unit with the forth foot zoom unit because it pops easier so you have to buy another one

They didnt get rid of the "defect" for a reason... thats what connects the forefoot zoom and the midfoot to heel zoom. So when u step onto ur heel and roll in to the forefoot, the air that ur compressing out of the heel is going into the forefoot, which makes the transition better and makes ur toe off bouncier cuz the air pressure in the toe is greater
