the upper is a material nike referred to as skin wire, if my memory serves correct hyperfuse was literally in its infancy when the kobe v's came out. and the mesh tongue is nike's torch system, still one of the best tongues out there

if you're getting a blister you need to size up lol.. I'm usually a 10 with nike/jordans but I knew these were snug. 10 years ago I went with a 10 and I cant even use any thick socks(nike elite) to play them. now I went with 10.5 and they fit perfect! one of the shoes I played with when I was in my prime.

I have kobe 5 bruce lee alternate and I have wide feet and they fit pretty well even when I tried them when I first got them but its just the toe box its a bit narrow but it fine but it doesn't hurt that bad but if you have really wide foot then don't get these they would hurt
