My favorite color from the team bank 8s! I don't hate the drop-in set up (first time trying any Kobe 8 with these) but I do agree that adding Zoom would make these even better. I know you talked about the fit in previous videos but how do these compare to the 808 4 Ultra? I went tts with the Kobe 8 and it was fine after break in, for me.

Kobe 8 protro colorways have been so boring. I dont know why they dont just bring back some of the OG colorways. They were so creative and fun

Yes….I immediately swapped the super stiff react for the SPO midsole

@@damir-r7d I’m using the strength midsole that’s well broken in. Heel stack is slightly lower if not the same. The big difference is the forefoot, SPO is lower with a nicer offset…making running and pushing off more fluid. also being thinner make the shoes less snug, which is personal preference there. I also have lunerlon midsoles from OG 9s that work for these as well. React midsole is garbage….I stuck them in the 9s that I wear around the house to see if they’ll get softer once broken in….really broken in.

In all honesty there’s no reason to get 8s. The 9s weigh the same with better traction. And there are other shoes that weigh the same as the OLD 8s if you know what to look for
