Played in them for the last month. If they get any water on them they are so so slippery. Not the best grip. Really enjoying the zoom in the front. Best cushion in a Kyrie so far

Zach..so I’ve been watching you for a couple of months now. I’ve noticed that you tell us what we like about the shoes… rather you put words and knowledge to why the shoes may or may not perform for some. Example..I have the ♾. The comment about them being build for people that bring there own power and they help maximize footwork, is spot…freaking on. That’s exactly why I love them but didn’t have the words or knowledge to say it. When I find things like this in a reviewer/review, it helps me trust what they are saying. What you are saying. Ky 5 low just dropped a sweet color way. Let me rephrase.. I found a sweet color way. Thanks to your review.. I’m on it tomorrow! Thank you.

And then after playing for 3 games Indoors the front side of the shoe started hurting the bone of my Big toes on both shoes. The Extra things on the side of the uppers that the Laces go through (2x) is what caused the problem for me. I can feel them poking me but maybe i just have wide feet. These fit amazingly, the stability is awesome and the grip is great too, only they're a bit hard on the knees so i don't play in them. The jordan 36, the greek freak 3 and the KD 14's were all a lot softer on the knees. And the latter 2 were cheaper, at least when i got them. I think the kyrie's are great for young players who still have plenty of knee life left. But for me, at 41, i only wear them off-court.

When I stand in the Kyrie 8, after about a minute or two, they make my heel go numb! I believe I'm a 10.I usually buy 10.5's to get a wider toe box. Had to get an 11 in these to feel comfortable. I've discovered I really don't like the feel of low-to-the-ground, flat feeling shoes. I wanted to like these! Also, I just learned about EP models. How much wider would you say the EP models are?

High vs low just puts stress on different parts - one isn’t better then the other
@MrAwesome__2 жыл бұрын
Lower drop will load your ankles and Achilles more, while a higher drop will load your knees and hips more. Just depends on what you want to load or protect more, but wouldn't call it issues. I personally like to protect my knees and let lower legs do the work, but I have relatively weak knees.

Hey Zach , Love watching your videos because im a HUGE sneaker head and always wondered about more of the science behind shoes. Im also a basketball player all my life so the sneaker world obviously brought me into basketball. Now this might be random but I have rolled my ankle so many times that I know wear ankle braces every time i play basketball and because of that there has not been a shoe to this day that matches up with the JORDAN 29 I would LOVE LOVE LOVE , if you made this type of in-depth review for that shoe so we all can hear your opinion of an older model shoe but yet still one thats on the court often and thats overall an amazing shoe. I have been using that shoe for 5 years now and I would really like to know your thoughts on those shoes. Also would love to hear what shoe matches up with those in todays day and age because its becoming very sparse to find specific colours in the JORDAN 29s. I bought the Jordan 34s , but they just around the same feeling as the 29s since a lot of people online said it was very similar to the JORDAN 29s. please let us know if you'll be able to do this review because I bet im not the only one looking forward to that review. thanks again for your amazing videos. much love : )
