Hey JayMike, been a subscriber for like 4 years. Just wanted to say you guys should do like a blind boot test, like somehow one person ties on like 10 pairs of top end shoes but doesn't know what they are and then scores them for touch, comfort, lockdown, etc.

Great review again! I love the launch colorway, but I am not sure if I will like these boots more than the 13's. I agree that the Superfly's should be something different. People bought the Superfly I, II and III for $300 or more even though they weren't comfortable at all. Step up your game Nike!

I think the soleplate on the takedown versions looks amazing. Bladed studs on the front 2 and semi conical studs on the rest of the forefoot.

i noticed that nike soleplates always wear off very easily. I bought a phantom vision boot and the side of the soleplate came off a lil bit after a month as compared to my X18.1, the soleplate still sticks. Kinda wanna buy a mercurial boot my im scared that it doesnt last that long.

to me the 13 are like chainmail armour. They move and support my feet, keep it tight and compact while I'm striking the ball. The 14 seems to be more gimmicky with a pretty face. I might just buy it for the looks though :)

@@Bass289 I did, 3 pairs. I've only trained in my 14 so I have not kick a ball in anger yet :) but 14 definitely better for wider foot type. It has a slightly rounder toe box front which works better for me. So I would say they are a draw right now.

Vapor XIII and Vapor X are the goats. Just widely loved by the people. Vapor 14 may be too futuristic with that brave colourway. I think Vapor 14 will not be for everyone. I wish they wouldve mixed the X and XIII together for the Vapor 14...

It’s a total letdown if these don’t have the Flyknit Technology, Flyknit is amazing! With Flyknit even people with Wide Feet could wear the mercurials, I have wide feet and the Mercurial 13’s were amazing to wear and that was only because of the Flyknit Technology! If these shoes are lacking it then it’s 👎
