I bought the Metcon 6 MF in my size 8.5 and they were small. I understand why, I need size 9. And the models were sold out.

I personally do not like this model at all, it looks like it was made with cheap materiales and a black tape on the side. Plus the design on the front do not make sense with the design on the back. Maybe the comfort and quality of the shoe is better but doesnt look great. Great Review by the way!

toe box is cramped? i wear 10 in nanos spacious and it would be my first experience with the metcon. should i go half size up? or go tts 9.5

I personally go 1/2 size up in these. I wear an 11 in the Nano X and an 11.5 in the Metcon line - because of the width of the toe area.

I say go 1/2 size up. the toe box is cramped (for me) just like the Metcon 5. That said - if you have the metcon 5 and you are happy with how it fits, probably stick with that size. My normal size is 11 (in nearly all shoes, but I need an 11.5 in Metcon).

The Metcons have better forefoot cushioning, but the Nano X fits me better. It's hard to say, some of it is going to come down to preference.

Short distances, but they don't have a lot of cushion. I prefer cushioned running shoes if I'm going to be on my feet all day.

Yeah, it's two tone so it really highlights the mesh. The regular edition look ok (at least to me).

I've never had an issue using these on wet grass (moring dew, after a rainstorm, etc.) but they don't have real deep tread. (I'm basing this on the fact that the outsole on the 6 is identical to the 5 - which I've worn alot)

Some online articles say this shoes is good for wide fitting but you're saying it's narrow? Interesting.

It's too narrow for me at my regular size. I don't think I have wide feet. I don't read other people's reviews - all my thoughts and observations are my own. I would reccomend you try these on if at all possible. Everybody's foot is different. This is NOT a wide shoe like the Nano X is.

I am sorry maybe its a better shoe, but its an ugly looking shoe. Hopefully the “standard” models come out better than the Fraser edition. The Metcon 5 looks way way better. Thanks for the video.

Great review. Thank you. Beautiful shoe even though Nike is full Kapernick anti-American. One observation, when braking during rope decent I believe you do use the outside of the shoe. I do anyway.
