I have a pair for casual and one for balling indoor, I have worn both for 4 years now, my casual one's traction is gone smooth, I used to wear them everyday for a school year then slowly to twice or few times a month, my indoor one's traction is still held up great! Love balling in them still, great stuff

The first review I've ever seen Nightwing do was of the Lebron zoom soldier 3. I've never had a better experience in a basketball shoe since then. (The Kobe 8 and Hyperdunk 2013 are honorable mentions) UNTIL THIS SHOE. The nike pg 1 is the best basketball shoe i've ever played in. It feels like the soldier 3 with the toe cap and the mesh upper. the lockdown like the soldier 3 had was incredible with the 2 straps, the pg 1 is better than that. Spot on review NW, I think saying that this shoe fits like a glove would almost be a disservice, This shoe once you put it on feels like it just morphs into 1 with your foot.

Most stores are only getting 1-2 pairs of each size of the Ferocity so don't be disappointed when you find out this won't be an easy in-store cop. I got mine last week when my local FL put them out by mistake! It wasn't until I bought my 2nd pair that they realized the error. Everybody had a good laugh tho!

Thorough and accurate review as always. I can co-sign that these are NOT for wide feet or high arches. I have a slightly wider foot and slightly high arch. I ordered my true size and I can't even walk in these, much less play in them. They are so TIGHT. Sadly, I will have to get rid of them.

I agree that Nike made this a "budget friendly" model since it is PG's first shoe and they only provide zoom cushion in the forefoot. $110 for a basketball shoe is definitely not expensive compared to the other models companies have to offer. But for $10 more dollars you can purchase the adidas crazy explosive low at $120 (i actually just purchased these, they are great!). Comparing just the cushions, (nike) is only forefoot zoom, while (adidas) is full-length boost. I don't understand why nike wouldn't add some more tech into their cushion since their main competitors are offering something that is a much better cushion, full-length. Even if it is only adding heel zoom to the pg1, it is something extra. You may not be able to feel the zoom, but at least you know your shoe has it. Nike has to step up their game and give their consumers what they deserve or else people are going to start preferring different brands (adidas). I am not biased to shoe companies, but I believe Nike must go all out with their basketball models. It seems that you must pay at least $150 to get some decent cushion with nike. Just my opinion. Anyways, thanks nightwing for all your videos!! Keep doing your thing, I appreciate you!

You said that these shoes are like Kobe5. I'm playing with Kobe5 since they came out and for me it's the best shoe out there. For PG1 first I thought "finally, new pair" but than you compared them with HyperRev which I also have but couldn't play more than 3 games because they don't fit my feet at all and I went back to Kobe5. Can you please explain the difference between PG1 and HyperRev to me?
