Love the idea of this review. Way too many "sneaker"/"b-ball" youtubers talk about all the tech, and how it felt when they tried it on in store. This review actually gives me, and other viewers I'm sure, a great idea of how good the sneaker really is. Thanks guys! Honest Review: Hooped in these a few times, but ended up returning them because I purchased a size too small. Good traction, liked the way the midsole foam felt, softer than other shoes like Kyries. Zoom was fine, just felt a little squish and bounce on my foot. The upper was comfy, but just too narrow for me man, I got super-wide feet (and ankles for that matter.) Ended up buying Hardens and Currys but liked it other than the fact it was too narrow/small which causes some pinching and discomfort for me.

Yeah, it can be really tough. Kinda limits your options when shopping for sneakers. A lot of companies today don't give optional widths anymore. Just have to stick to select models (like the Pegasus) or hope that a particular shoe will fit your foot. I feel you bro.

The forefoot lock down is a take away from the Kenton soldier 9. The soldier 9 when you pull on the fly wire cables makes it so nice and these have that same system and gives you that good feeling

I've hooped in these shoes for a long time now too and I agree with literally everything said here. Especially about that bottom heavy, transition clunkiness. No one else mentioned that on KZbin that I saw but it never goes away, even after months of playing.

Let me just say that for many older ballers we don't necessarily want a ton of "flex" because it can protect against pulling/tearing a lower leg muscle. Also, the PG1 is the best shoe I've ever worn in terms of toe jam protection. That strap and the toebox material work wonderfully together.

Honest review. I like the price point and the aesthetics of the shoe, but i prefer the zoom unit on the heel and not botom-loaded. For that price point 100-120 (or even less on sale) i think the Crazy Explosive lows or even the Mamba Instincts are a better option. Keep up the good work, boys!

I would have gone with a overall rating of 8.5 - 8.75 due to the price point, traction, silhouette, lockdown, and fit. For me, my foot fits in there perfectly. The only other shoes that I dig more than the PG1 right now is the Kobe AD NXT & KD10. I am going with models that released this year, but a huge con for me was that the 2K model has not yet released. When the PG1 was first announced by Nike they had that 2K color way on display and Ive been waiting ever since. The only other con that I can think of at the moment happens to do with the insole losing its "spongyness" rather quickly. Keep going HAM on those Vlogs.

I've seen a quite a few videos of your shoe reviews and I feel like you guys put more detail and effort into the video then many other sneaker review channels. For example in The Sole Brothers videos they usually pause/hesitate, and say umm to much, you guys are loud (which is good) have not heard many pauses and the music in the background is quite satisfying. (Size 10) I hoop in these and at first it felt really weird because of the huge zoom in forefoot. It does feel stiff and very and I mean very snug at first but after you break them in - it will feel somewhat true to size. Would still recommend half size up. Once you get used to zoom and if you arnt too heavy - Im 150 5'11'' - there should be enough cushion. Its not like full length zoom or anything but for me i jump and land with my forefoot usually. These are great for volleyball too btw because of that huge forefoot zoom. Lockdown and stability is great. I feel like Nikeid'ing my 2nd pair because I love them so much.

I got my first pair of these when PG got traded to OKC, I have not played in them yet but i have worn them 2 days already and love them for casual wear. I really like the snug fit of my size 13 it makes it where i do not have to tie them up for casual wea.r

liked the review, i've been hooping these shoes for about a month now, i love the heel to toe transition when i'm running, traction is above average and i'm almost stopping on a dime even on dusty court. impact protection is not that good for me since i'm lighter than you guys. but overall i like the shoes since it's a budget model shoe and i've always thought the shoe will be better if the zoom unit is top loaded

I personally have a pair of pg1 and i loved them. The traction is on point and i never slip on it b4. It fits my feet very well and i just feel locked in. The only cons i can say about pg1 is its cushion. My feet will hurt after running for a long time or jump rlly high

I'd give it a solid 8. Fit not an issue for me at size 11.5 but i do agree the bottom doesn't roll as easy as KD 10. I also get the similar feeling when i put these shoes on. Its like a switch activates to get into basketball mode. Great review! Keep up the good work!!

Fit is the best part of the shoe for me. My feet are narrow and there are only a handful of shoes out there that give me 1:1 fit, the PG1 is one of them and they do it well. Helps me a lot, especially since im a guard. Size 9 by the way :P

Honest review. Size 9.5. I hoop in PG1s almost all the time. Only con i found is that the zoom. Wish it was a full all around zoom like the KDs. That's just me being picky lol. But other than that great shoe. I'd give it a solid 8/10
