These really do give me hyper venom phantom 1 vibes based on how you described it. The roll over issue that the hyper venom phantom 1 was the main downfall of that shoe, and it seems like they’ve done a good job at fixing that, without going over the top like a mercurial in regards to responsiveness. Can’t wait to give these a go.

Im staying faithful to my Phantom 3s ... I think Part of the missing Lockdown is the lace system. The laceholes right&left are far from each other pulling less upper diagonally to lock the feet but rather upwards which kills lockdown (not like eg Laser 4 where the lacing was off centered too but lace holes right&left weren’t far from each other)

He is 100% right. The heel is a big problem as well check both in said heels as one of mine was so bad it cut my foot to bits. I got a pair and wish I got a hole size smaller your foot move around why to much. If you get this boot right it’s amazing

Been using a pair of the Pink Superfly 7's since Nike cancelled my Safari Superfly order. I wore 2 pairs of the Dream speed Superfly's and both of them instantly cut/dug into my Achilles. The Pink ones seemed fine but after using them about 4 times 3-4 hour per sessions they started to dig into my Achilles. I don't understand because I have worn countless pairs of Superfly's over the years and have loved them. A shame this issue is happening, might have to try out these new GT's. Great review as always. Side question, do you guys think the Vapor's will have the same heel digging issue as the Superfly? or would they be a safe buy because I love the feel of the newest Mercs :(

These were my first pair! Got them recently. They were in white not black and I’m still breaking them in :/ also for me I had to get a half size up! I kinda with the spikes were a teeny bit longer and pointer so over time they don’t wear down as much

How does the sizing compare to the tiempo legend elite 8? I just tried on an 8.5us and it was definitely, definitely too small (despite being my size in the future z and speedflow). So with the phantom gt, would you say go with my same speedflow size? Or go with true to size 9 given how small the tiempo is?
