Nike React Miler 2 | Features, Performance Test & More!

I’ve been wearing them for over 8 hours a day for 10 months. They’re still pretty comfortable but the rubber grip around the toe area has almost flattened resulting in lots of slipping. The cushion is still pretty great. I use them for sports like badminton and table tennis plus I walk at least on average about 6-7000 steps a day and do hiit workouts for around 20-30 mins a day . I have the green and red coloured ones which when cleaned look almost brand new unless you get close and see and the little creases in the sides of the cushion.

I've watched lots of reviews in the last 2 months to learn about different shoe offerings from different brands. I have to say, you are very good at reviewing. Definitely much better than pretty much all reviewers out there, with an exception of maybe 1 or 2. Most reviews are about nothing, just pretty much giving you the specs.

Hi, thanks for this review which confirms my feeling. I've found them for 45€ on sale (instead of 130€). I don't practice running at all, for which they may be great, but for everyday it would feel too unstable. I feel like there's a bump in the middle of the sole, and I tend to lean backward as the foam is very soft. It's confortable in terms of shock absorption, but it's difficult to find a comfortable position while standing still (especially with one foot). I'm still hesitating because of the very low price...

I have been wearing them strictly for running because they will get uncomfortable for everyday use! They are an amazing running shoe, but I agree with everything you said regarding the feeling at the midsole and how responsive and cushioned the foam is. If you want a similar experience that is a lot more comfortable, look into the Pegasus 38/39! They also have a React midsole but the fit is more comfortable and they are versatile, so you can wear them for multiple things. Hope that helps!

ok, before I purchased these shoes, I was desperately looking for the reviews that I need. sadly, there's not a lot. then I finally got these shoes from eBay for a pretty good price. I have worn them for a few days, here's what I have to say for those who are interested in them, but want to know more about them: 1. don't be afraid to size up. I usually wear size 9.5 for nike running shoes, but size 10 fits ok, maybe cuz i like my shoes roomy. size 10 is def roomy for my feet, but i don't like shoes that are too snug due to my sensitive toes; 2. the shoes are waterproof indeed. however, that is at the sacrifice of breathe-ability. after wearing them for a few days, i found the back of my feet itchy, because esp the tongue material is just not as breathable as i wanted it to be. 3. when it comes to comfort, they are one of the most comfy shoes i own. it is just the breathe-ability that concerns me.

I'd recommend the Pegasus 38 instead! The Renew Run 2 is also a bit narrow and it might not be the best option if these were very tight for you. With the Pegasus 38 you still get React + an Air Zoom unit at the forefoot for extra responsiveness! Hope that helps!

I unfortunately haven’t tried the Shield version of the Winflo 8 myself. However, I’ve seen very mixed reviews and opinions on them. So, if possible, make sure you give them a try first. Hope that helps!

Based on my experience with both, I have to go with the React Miler 2. The Winflo 7 is still a great shoe and I'm sure you could use it as well. The Miler 2 works better, though, since it's tailored to be used for longer distances. Hope that helps!

Hi! Wouldn't recommend them for the gym. They are designed with running in mind, and this becomes pretty apparent with the shape and curvature of the midsole. This can throw off your form at the gym and potentially cause an injury. If you're looking for something that has React and that can be good for the gym, I recommend the Pegasus 38 or 39. @@hastensavoir7782 i just got back from the store where i tried it..there's no cushion as everyone is saying it's bullshit...not even the pegasus 39 had cushion..only zoom x Invincible had cushion...and the fit is just aweful the way my foot feels..nah...ultraboost is a much better shoe...and even Xiaomi mija chinese shoe is much better softness and is 3rd of the price..ridiculous really...

Based on my experience and the research I did for the video, they would be pretty decent for a marathon. The React foam provides a soft ride and great energy return, which will help a lot with getting you through the entire race. Only thing to keep in mind is that these are a bit heavy (at least for me) and that can become noticeable, specially on the late stages of a race. Outside of that, these are designed to go the distance, so they'll be pretty efficient for a marathon. Hope that helps!

I went true-to-size, but I think going half-size down wouldn't hurt. They are slightly lengthier at the forefoot, but the rest of the fit is pretty good. Hope that helps!

@@PMBShoes Let me intervene pls. To me they are true-to-size by taking Air Max BW and 90 as a reference. But I've noticed that Nike as released some other models (like the Air Max Zero) which are smaller despite the size mentioned.

Great review! I was thinking about buying it in a promotion, but now i won't. Since i'm used to workout and run wearing the ultraboost 19, this model seems to be not so confortable for most activities.

You're correct, I've found these to be great for running (specially when going the distance), but they simply don't feel adequate for anything else outside of that. If you're still looking for something along those lines and price, I'd highly recommend the Pegasus 38! I started using it for HIIT workouts and running a few months ago and I was very surprised with its versatility. It also retails for $10 USD less than the React Miler.
