I love gum outsoles, so for me it’s a pretty easy “verdict”. Nevertheless, I believe that the new ones are more nice in terms of colors (tongue-tag, heel-tag…). Considering I already hold the White Gum, I will not buy the new ones, but definitively two fantastic and classic pairs! Thanks for the comparison and happy new year!

Gum soles are almost always the way to go. I have an old pair of non SB Dunks with white leather, white canvas, black swoosh and gum soles. They never look out of place.

besides the outsole they sure look similar, and if you dont have the gumsole ones and cant get them at the same price, just go for it. But if you can get both or you own the gums, those look better. But as a daily pair for not-collectors, this is a fine shoe. I got those shadow grays that released last week, they are nice too, all suede

They're both cool but I definitely prefer the gums, which I have. They just look better but they also remind me of being a kid in the 90's rocking skate shoes while the black soles remind me more of the time in the early 2000's when everyone in hip hop was obsessed with AF1's with minor color variations. It’s a toss up. The interior of the white gums is better. The leather on the new white/black is better. The suede of the swoosh is nice too. The interior is the rough mesh that kind of sucks a little bit :/ same for the new black/black/gum interior

The white black is the better quality then simply because of the swoosh being suade not that awful cardboard leather they use for 90% of swooses. I know their suade isn't the best but it beats that crap leather. Fair enough they have tumbled swoosh the no extra laces thing is a joke it really is. Another arsehole move from Nike.

Again like the black gums, i bought the white gums some months ago and i love everything about them. These added nothing. On the opposite, the extra black on the heel and tongue is dispensable and they lost the gum that i also love! 🫡🇵🇹

@ I haven't seen them in person but i trust you on that. The white gums leather is kind of plasticky that’s true. I prefer the black gums suede to be honest but it does get kind of ashy like you said in the other vid. In the end of the day everything's subjective! Keep up! 🫡

SNKRS restocked the gum bottoms like a lot too. Good thing about Skateshops is they will discount them pretty quick when demand is low. Atleast here in Germany.
