At just 15 years old, Leal has already etched her name in skateboarding history, clinching the silver medal in skateboarding's Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Since then, Leal has shattered records, becoming the youngest street skater to win a Women's Final on the Street League Skateboarding World Tour at 11 years old. Since then she is Street League two time champion and won a Silver Medal for Brazil in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan! Leal has also been skateboarding for April Skateboards as a professional for the last few years. Now, as one of skateboarding's brightest young talents, Leal is set to receive her very own Nike SB Dunk Low. Keep an eye out for Rayssa this Summer in Paris as she goes for the Gold Medal in the 2024 Olympic Games!
This collaboration marks Leal's debut with the iconic Nike SB Dunk Low silhouette, following her successful release of the Nike SB Verona Slip in 2022. This Nike SB Dunk Low will join the other two April Skateboards affiliate dunks which were released in late 2023, the Yuto Horigome and the April Skateboards (Shane O’Neill). Will we continue to see dunk low colorways from the April Skateboards lineup of skateboarders, only time will tell, but this is the third installment in what could be the April Skateboards Pack!

I just got mine and I love them!! If you look closely at the soles you’ll notice that’s full of tiny stars ⭐️!!! I’m just not sure if I’m bold enough to wear one lace of each color though 😅

The way you laced them up is the way to go, I wouldn’t put only the blue ones or the magenta ones, one and one goes perfect with the “mismatchiness” of the shoe, from the swooshes to the footbeds. Going for only one color laces breaks those vibes for me. Or white laces look good too, for a cleaner look, depending on the outfit

Yea let's hope so I've got like almost 40 pairs of funks and SB dunks and probably 5 or 6 pairs of AJ 1's and literally like 9 of the last 10 pairs I've gotten (aside from the burgundy crush's that just dropped recently all came with defects. 1 of them being the. AJ 1 Chinese new years:. The dragon scamming was basically dried out and flaking when they landed.. super annoying and disheartening as even if you send them back you can't get em replaced because they all sold out immediately after drop! Nike really needs to be doing better!!

I thought the material quality was pretty good considering its laser engraved suede, embossed leather, and solid leather toebox - there was nothing that jumped out as bad quality materials
