Thank you! So the initial launch for Premier 3 was still k-leather. There's been a switch but a huge discussion in the boot community because it looks like Nike may have switched to synthetic leather a few colorways into this release. Good catch though!

@iasyama1999 yes! My black pair was the first Premier 3 but shortly after all releases switched over to calf leather.

Does the leather stretch over time? I’ve had copas forever but I learned that I have to go a full size down. Copas are super tight if you buy a size down but after a few intense wears they start to fit like a glove. How do these compare?

I'd say if you want to stretch them, go half size down at most. I do see how you can go 1 full size down on the Copa but not on these IMO

In my opinion position doesn't matter as much as you're playing style and the material you like on your feet. However, I personally liked the Premiers more than the Copas!

You're right! Nike changed the Premier upper shortly after launch. And the latest tiempo is a synthetic upper.

Yes these should be fine! Soleplate and stud pattern should hold up wrll on turf.

@hlatommy yeah thats a big issue with turf, it destroys boots. I would consider a synthetic upper as leather has a tougher time holding up on turf.

they fit a .5 down at most. i wear a 10.5 in all nikes and the 10.5 in the premiers fit very snug. not bad but it is worth a mention

yes these would be great as they have conical studs! If you need to choose an FG boot to use on turn, always go with conical studs as its much safer.

@Danigxxiii mmh that I don't have an exact answer for you but the soleplate itself is well made. In terms of separating from the upper, that's a tough one to answer especially if you're playing on turf 😅

It's hard to say as it depends on how you play, the surface, etc. but I would say they are well built for a $120 boot. Do you play on turf?

@@HD14-pn1qq unfortunately turf cuts the life of a boot tremendously. If you can afford it, I would invest in an AG pair as those will hold up better OR buy yourself another low cost boot to reduce the amount of wear on your Premiers. Make sense?
