These things look awesome. Once again, I love the way you're testing them. It's true that the test might improve with a higher number of shots, but you run the risk of adding other bias in to the testing. What you could do is post the shot data from a mid handicapper and pete. Statistically speaking you're already testing better than any other vlogger though. Keep it up. One last thing, could you give a reference for what the feel of the club at impact was. Like maybe a comparison to a past club from any manufacturer.

I like the new way of testing with the 30 shots ... But I would like to see the simulator when you do hit shots on camera and to describe how the clubs feel you hit on camera rather than after ... But if you don't it's still a good way to review the clubs ... Gives plenty of information

Great reviews on the fly RS .... :) The new 30, so 10,10,10, presumably came out of collaboration with the 'stats guy' you met in NYC, is a good idea gives a much better overall view of how the Clubs perform. Quite like the look of the Pro version & some okay #'s too - can't help thinking they would look nicer perhaps wear better over time if they had a metallic smoky grey finish rather than black, but like the 'blue' better than the 'lime green'.

I've played your slingshot Irons, your Sasquatch and covert drivers. I love my nike putter, now for you to eliminate us lefties I think you've lost me for irons. Hi Rick love your show! Love all the reviews you do with the most up to date clubs on the market. I'm Getting new irons in 2016 with all the newest irons coming out. I've demoed the Nike Pro Combos before and liked them. But I'm a Solid 12 handicap and felt like that those were just a little to much club for me. But in the same breath in ready to take the next step to Forged irons because I'm still playing with my old set which are Cavity backs and I'm just ready for the next step up in clubs. But I am just like all golfers trying to get that score down! So would these Nike Vapor Fly pros be suited for a guy like me trying to get into that 6-10 handicap range.
@16pennynails2 жыл бұрын
I come from the future of 2022, haha Ha!! These things are worth a lot of money now, partly due to several pros who still carry the three iron. Mean, stealthy looking clubs that have developed a cult following...Nike golf clubs in general...they should have thinned their line, gone a bit easy on the graphics and stuck around in golf club building. I wonder what their next products would have been like, at least in appearance.

it's a testament to how good premium brands have gotten. At this point, looks have become a huge consideration when buying. also when you're an excellent ball striker like rick, you tend to get comparable performance because the ball is the same.

I have been extremely critical of this new range of Nike clubs ( Wait till you see the drivers they are so bad they will make your eyes bleed) However- this in my opinion - is the nicest looking club in their new range! No it still wouldn't go in my bag as I can't consider buying a club I don't like the look of but it's not as horrific as the others I would go as far as to say down by the ball ( when you can't see the back of the club) they look ok. If I were the person who runs Nike Golf I would sack the person who designed this range...not for this club but for the rest of the range. I can imagine many a teenager might like these in their bag and maybe a few others but since Nike released the covert range they have sadly produced some awful looking clubs. I think Nike should try to make nice classic looking clubs that people may want to play instead of making clubs with silly colours with made up names!

+Adam Flynn Personally I like the whole range from a design stand point. Granted I am most likely much closer to the teenage aspect than you, at 26 years old. I do know a lot of 30-40 year olds that like Nike's stuff as well. The fact is, if you want more young golfers to get interested, the equipment has to appeal to them aesthetically and the price can't be too far out of reach. Then they have to perform too of course.
