Nike VaporFly vs Saucony Endorphin Elite

I think the Elite are designed for marathon and Vaporfly shorter distances, so I think the Alphafly v Elite would be a better comparison?

BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE! Absolute Junk. My wife wanted to try a pair of this brand, her size is 6.5 W after a couple of wears they caused severe blisters on the top of her foot. Their horrible customer service did absolutely nothing other than make us jump thru hoops.

thats why u buy a new type of shoe in a store not online. in the moment i run 6 pairs of saucony. some are 46,5 and some are 47! and my old hoka is 47 wide. i wear always socks from the german company FALKE. and i cant remember when i had my last blister. and after 80+ marathons and ultras i would say i am not a beginner and i know what im doing.

I bought the endorphin elite, I thought I would be very satisfied with them, but not really, they are light and look great, but they are more stiff on the forefoot padding, they injured my foot, twice, I run with a mid foot strike, the next day after a 13 mile run my foot had a pain, 3 months later I still have the pain, it is less now, this shoe was a huge disappointment for me at $275 I can’t return them, I don’t know what to with them, I would not recommend them, the Alphafly or vaporfly are much better, I have 5 alphas and 4 vapors. I run about 120-140 miles a month.

Agreed, I ordered the endorphin elite’s and while they’re not I just wasn’t impressed. I did a 9 mile tempo and my calves were on fire (this is partly due to me currently switch my strike). However, I haven’t had any problem with my alpha flys v1 and my legs feel so fresh after tempo and Farlek runs

I would never buy nike as zoom x are trash and lose there bounce quickly. Id go for the pro 3

What a bummer on the Elite. But i heard vaporfly and alpafly are not durable at all. Thats a huge concern for shoes priced that high.

Saucony sucks got holes after a few months...brooks better

actually i use 6 pairs of saucony. and my first pair of Triumph 19 has nearly 1300km. my second pair triump 19 had 900km on it. and i would ran a marathon with them. on sunday i will run 100km. and i choose the triumph 21 for it. and yes i had one pair brooks glycerin. after 500km i can only do 25km with them, because of pain in both feeds.

Vaporfly 1 and 2 were not 40mm at the heel. They were 36mm. So that is why they feel “lower” to the road. I measured mine in a running lab. 👍🏻 I think vapor 3 is finally a “full stack” shoe with true 40mm in the heel. Looking forward to testing them! (When i get my grubby hands on them!)

I Was wondering the same thing when ever I measure the vaporflys... Alphafly felt much higher.

Idk where you got 36 from but 2 and 3 have the same exact stack 40 and 32

@@floppybird had all vaporflies (still have vapor 3 obviously). Measured when my alpha 1 felt higher than vapor 1 in the heel. Vapor was 36, alpha 39. Vapor 2 has exactly the same midsole as Vapor 1. Only an upper update.

I just wore the saucony endorphin pro 2 which felt they were sliding off when I ran and foam so hard so didnt benifit from the response from the speedroll

You look like a pro, Do you by any chance know why my feet go numb when I tun long distance? I am some what heavy for my height. 5’7” around 190 and change. Does that have something to do with it? Or maybe I am running a certain way which causes the numbness.

It's hard to try. For 10k what shoe is better for you? About 31' o 32'.

For the shorter distances like 5k 10k and half marathon the vaporfly 2 is better but for the marathon its pretty close between them
