Ordered a pair finally. Really looking forward to giving them a go for faster efforts. Greetings from Western Canada.

Ran 3 miles with it tonight and 1 mile in the Hoka Clifton. Hoka road shoe won't touch my foot again after tonight. The Zoom Fly just fits me and I love it! As for the traction it was noticeably better than the Clifton. I live in Montana and it's winter here so I got to test both tonight with snow and ice

Surprisingly my wide foot fits nike's plated lineup nicely against any other brands I tried. I have 2 of these zf6s, 1 vf3 and 2 alphafly3s all fits perfect for my wide foot. This zf6 is shoe of the year for me, it's so versatile and also love puma deviate nitro 2s i have 3 pairs these are the only shoes I keep now and do all of my runs, vf3 and af3 for races.

@@metalsadman 100% agree. I’m actually scouring the internet now for the best deal as I’ve decided to buy a second pair :-) Even if I can’t find a deal, Nike still smashed it out the park with the price-point of this. I reckon even at full price of $260AUD it’s still a bargain. Rare that a manufacturer produces a shoe which is the best in market (IMO) on pretty much every front in its category.

I love mine in the EK colourway (Chch, NZ). I've 75km on them with 400m intervals, 5k threshold and 30km long run- all hella enjoyable. Thinking of picking up a second pair- but only if I can get the EK colour again- yes, the others are a bit meh

I agree with you on the Vaporfly 3; it's a 'hit and miss' for me, although I quite liked the previous (Vaporfly 2) I had. However, I haven't tried the new Alphafly 3, so I can't say anything about it, but I don't think I'll get it because I don't like the new design.

This is my first carbon fiber plated shoe. Any tips for dealing with pain on the bottom of my foot? After mile three is sorta feels like it’s burning.
@jimmyrunsoz3 күн бұрын
@@Danny-ti8qs I’m certainly no expert- I’d recommend seeing a sports podiatrist if possible. Bottom of foot sounds like plantar fascia though - I’d be looking into strengthening foot, ankle, calves and hips. I use an app called Movement Vault - they’ve got a programme specifically for plantar fasciitis. I’d highly recommend that. All the best, and definitely see a professional to get a proper diagnosis if the pain persists. Highly unlikely it’s due to the shoes in my opinion - I’d try the plantar fascia program on Movement Vault first and if that doesn’t work, see a sports podiatrist 👍

Thanks for the review , just wondering fit wise how was this compared to the Alphafly 3 and why did you not like that shoe ? I was going to get a pair of these to train with my aplhafly 3s
@jimmyrunsoz16 күн бұрын
@@stevros48 The fit is perfect for me, as was the fit of the Alphafly 3. Watch this video for more details as to why I returned the AF3: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIaQh6mmjMh6m6c But in short - despite feeling amazing when I first put them on, I found them a little uncomfortable after a while. They also didn’t appear to give me much assistance with speed/efficiency. It’s a great shoe, but just didn’t work for my running style at the time. I bought them to be a race shoe and as I had better options (for me and my running mechanics) I returned them because it’s a butt-load of money to spend on something that didn’t do what you were hoping for. Ironically, literally a couple of hours ago I bought another pair of the AF3’s as they were heavily reduced in Boxing Day sales! I’m looking forward to testing them more thoroughly and even if I still don’t get on very well with them, they’re priced right to make a great training shoe so I figure it’s a win-win :-)
