The Nike Zoom GP Challenge 1 Tennis Shoe is the successor to the ever-popular Zoom GP Turbo. The NikeCourt Zoom GP Challenge 1 is Worn on Tour by Frances Tiafoe and it offers more cushioning than Nike's other tennis shoes like the Vapor 11 and Vapor Pro. The shoe has a midfoot stability plate and a Zoom Air unit in the heel and forefoot to provide responsive cushioning. The TPU lace cage adds extra support to the lateral side, and the medial toe box has some beefed-up protection for hard court wear and tear. Another plus for the overall comfort is the extra padded tongue, which is a nice callback to the Zoom GP Turbo. The Nike Zoom GP Challenge 1 comes in Men's and Women's sizing.

Great shoes, but they run 1/2 size small.

the only thing I worry about is that thin wax instead of a drag guard for the more outside part of the shoe when scuffing.

For anyone thinking this is a good replacement for the GP Turbo think again. This shoe is no where near and plush and cushiony as the GP Turbo. I bought after a few reviews labeled it as the successor to the GP Turbo and I'm sadly disappointed. The toe box seems more like a skate boot with the thick rubber toe guard, the ankle lockdown is lacking, and it's not very cushiony. Nice try Nike, now bring back the Turbo.
