Chris, I picked up a pair of these in Australia a month ago - I'm a big guy, and wear a size 18 in Nikes. It is "*amazing* and one of the most comfortable shoes I own. Great cushion, great support.

I think I said this in a different review of yours, but I love Nike putting some time in on bringing together bball tech and coming back to a more lifestyle design touches again w/ these, Dbook, Ja, Sabrina, Freak, and Lebron. Felt like adidas and puma were the only ones interested in from court to street recently.

I loved the GT Run except for the thin outsole. They are still my go to for outdoor hoop, crazy bouncy, no knee pain, run all day. I hope these are as good.

I dig the shoe…it also reminds me of the Air Max 1 for some reason. The traction reminds me of the J Kidd Zoom Flight 5….but I wish they used the traction pattern for that shoe…it was AWESOME!! Track spike inspired.

The upper reminds me of an AJ1 with the 2-lacing holes of the AJ3 and midsole gives off AJ11s. But I love the looks of these 😮

So far, I like the idea. Some of my favorites shoes to hoop in are trail runners. The grip and lightness of trail runners are crazy underrated as hoopwear. This looks like it incorporates the trail runner benefits with a more durable upper. Nice.

Shoe definitely has a 90's vibe. The whole silhouette, the toebox paneling, very 90s. I didn't dig them until they were on feet though, they look so much better on feet. That outsole is really sus looking to me tho. I don't know why Nike insists on trying to reinvent their traction "systems" this drastically for what's supposed to be a solid on-court performer. Like, we know what works. They know what works. Full length Herringbone or Radial patterns, multi-directional. Doesn't have to be complicated. The traction looks like the bottom of a shower mat, like a bunch of suction cups. Maybe that sounds cool on paper but idk.

These actually remind me of a mix of the air max 1 toe, the original Etnies Mike Vallely shoe and the sole (from a side profile) of the Jordan 11 and a little bit of Jordan 1 / dunks overall aesthetic as well. Super cool shoes that are up my alley. Just got a pair and I hope they come out with more cool color ways. I wish they would actually make these a Nike iD customizable because there is a lot you could do to it because of its simplicity. I’d love these as a baseball cleat as well…

just tried them in store 20mins ago. Liked the look and feel but they run small. I am US8.5 always but my toes were squeezed in these. Cushioning is not as much as gt cut 2 but good enough.

Maybe a helpful insight. Tried to use the Move insoles on these and similar ones like the KDs and they feel weird. Like a bit of rocking motion. Just a tip for someone who’s planning to do so.

Actually there was a Nike Hustle basketball shoe. It’s a big kid/little kid basketball shoe. You can find them in the other shoe stores like Rack Room etc.
