Some of the options that come to mind within that price range are: Quest 4, Span 4 and Renew Ride 2/3! I've been trying the Renew Ride 3 (video isn't out yet) and so far it's been great for the price and the sole is structured and there is plenty of rubber at the bottom to help with durability. I'd recommend those since they just changed the design and concept, so they will be good for a couple years! Espero eso ayude y saludos a Mexico!

Out of those three options, my favorite overall is the Pegasus 38 due to the fact that I can wear it for running, training, and casually. The other two shoes are also decent for those things, but they have worked out for me for something more specific. What I mean by this is that I wear the Zoom Span 4 for training and the Vomero 16 is one of my favorite shoes to wear casually. Choosing one depends on what type of experience you're looking for. If I could only buy one, I'd go for the Pegasus 38, though. Hope that helps!

From my experience with the 3 models, I’d have to say Winflo 7 > Span 4 > Winflo 8 The Winflo 8 is my top choice because of its responsiveness due to the 2 Air Zoom units plus it feels a bit more premium than its $90 USD price point. The Span 4 is a close second, I just wish that the single Air Zoom unit provided slightly more responsiveness and that the midfoot was a bit more locked-in. The Winflo 7 was decent, but the 8 provided a better experience for me. Hope that helps!

Hola. Yo compré unos y suena mucho al caminar, la suela suena como un especie de "crujido" no se exactamente cómo describir el sonido q da, pero no sé si ésto sea normal, me parece un poco incómodo. Será un defecto de fabrica? O así son? Saludos!

Saludos amigo una pregunta es normal que se sienta en este modelo en la bola del pie algo delgado que atraviesa? Suena como un defecto de fabrica! El modelo tiene una unidad de Air Zoom en la parte debajo de la bola del pie, pero no se tiene que sentir como lo describes. Si no es eso, puede ser un defecto en la plantilla que esté causando esto. Si sigues dentro del tiempo para regresarlos o cambiarlos, te recomiendo que lo hagas para que tengas una mejor experiencia. Greetings from Mexico!! Zoom Span 4 vs react miler 2, which one is better?

It depends on what you're looking for! If you are looking for a shoe that's overall better for running, specially long distances, then the React Miler 2 is better. It has the React midsole which is responsive, but incredibly cushioned at the same time. Also, it's structured at the upper and it has a wider fit which combine with the midsole to help you go the distance. On the other hand, the Span 4 is also a great shoe for running, but also for other types of performance (EX. training, gym). The midsole is not as responsive or cushioned, however, so it doesn't provide the same type of running experience, specially for long distances, like the Miler 2. I would go for the Span 4 if you're looking to wear it casually since it has a more relaxed fit. Espero te ayude y saludos hasta Mexico!

I have to choose the Span 4. The Quest 4 isn’t terrible, but the fit wasn’t my favorite, specially at the forefoot. The wider fit of the Span 4 makes it more comfortable and creates a better experience! Hope that helps!

Hola! Mira, por la distancia que me comentas, definitivamente recomendaría algo que sea durable y que te responda bien a lo largo de esos 6-10 KM. Tengo 2 opciones que puedes considerar: - Zoom Pegasus 38 Este fue mi zapatilla favorita del año pasado y lo que más me gusta de ella es que es muy versátil. Para correr es increíble y la espuma en la media suela y la unidad Air Zoom ayudan mucho para que puedas correr las distancias que deseas. - Winflo 8 Piensa que es una versión debajo del Pegasus 38, pero te ofrece también buenas características. A diferencia del Pegasus, esta tiene 2 unidades Air Zoom, pero la espuma no están eficiente como el React que se encuentra en el Pegasus 38. Sin embargo, también te ayuda a recorrer las distancias mencionadas con suficiente eficacia. Espero eso te ayude!

No eh tenido la oportunidad de probar el Infinity Run 2, pero también eh escuchado muy buenas reseñas y comentarios acerca de esa zapatilla! En lo que se refiere a nivel de calidad y características, el Infinity Run 2 se supone que esta diseñado para ser mejor que el Pegasus 38. Si la zapatilla esta de oferta y el precio es muy similar, el Infinity Run 2 va a ser una mejor opción por el precio rebajado.

As usual, depends on what you’re looking to use them for! The Span 4 is a great option for performance (running + training) that gives you plenty of room and a stable midsole. The Revolution 6 has been one of my favorite to wear casually but they are not my favorite for performance. Hope that helps!

I have a video planned for the Winflo 8 (or 9 of it comes out before I start producing it)! Between this one and the Winflo 7, I’d have to choose this Span 4, though! The Winflo 7 was great, but I prefer the fit and feel of this one better. Hope that helps!

Very similar experience since they are both wider shoes with similar materials at the upper. The midsole on the Downshifter 12, though, seems softer and more versatile for other types of use. I mostly use the Zoom Span 4 for training due to the stability that it provides since it's not as soft. Hope that helps!

I have to give comfort to the Span 4! The Span 4 feels more roomy thanks to the wider fit at the forefoot and the overall fit of the shoe provided a more pleasant experience than the Prevail. The idea of the Prevail is solid, but right now it’s basically a Span with slightly more “premium” features, which don’t necessarily translate to better quality. Hope that helps!

(around 40 dollars US) I bought the span 3 a while ago, but I returned it because it was a bit tight on the arch of my feet.. and the outsole was a bit rigid.. more than the renew run 2

Both the outsoles are pretty equivalent. The one on the Prevail has a design that could help slightly more with providing a better grip, but they are very similar. Comfort-wise they also feel about the same. Sorry to hear you had to return the Span 3! But it makes sense, the midsole on that shoe and the Span 4 are the same and it's definitely more rigid and seems to try to add a bit of extra support at the arch, which isn't comfortable for everybody. Renew foam does tend to be a little softer and more cushioned than the one found on the Span 3/4. And yeah the Renew Run 1/2 were pretty roomy and I think the Span 4 fits almost the same as those shoes. The Span 3 definitely feels like it wraps around your foot with a bit more pressure.

Hello! You can, but I wouldn’t recommend it. There’s is no protection at the ankle and the midsole and outsole are not design for a court. It would be a safer bet to look for a pair of basketball shoes. Hope that helps!

I've thought about it, but it wouldn't be a good metric for comparison. Not all running shoes are the same, and they fit different needs depending on the type of experience you're looking for. I can rate this shoe and the Renew Ride 3 an 8/10, but they will not provide the same experiences. That's why sharing my thoughts and explaining which type of experience they provide seems more reliable.

Great question! I would choose this Span 4 over the Retaliation 3, but not the Renew Run 2 for comfort when it comes to casual wear. The Retaliation 3 isn’t terrible, but being a training shoe doesn’t that a lot with wearing it casually. The Renew Run 2, on the other hand, was great to wear out and about and I even worked long shifts with it and was incredibly comfortable. I think the extra money from this one to the Renew Run 2 is worth it for casual wear. Hope that helps!
