I loved watching her in the world cup! All I've ever wanted was to be a footballer/soccer player but I just don't see why women's football isn't advertised and shown. Why don't we have the same opportunities? I don't play for a proffesional team just my local but I would do anything to be a proffesional footballer! Abby is just amazing!

@ADAJ3 because Marta and a lot of the Brazilian players are the dirtiest players ever. I didn't see a 5-time FIFA Female Footballer of the Year. What I saw out there was the biggest whiner. And, selfish plays. True, the Brazilians are good 1v1. But, US just proved that you need to work together as a team instead of bringing each other down.

Come on!! You all should leave all these amazing womens soccer alone, Marta is an Excellent player no doubt. But she need to control her altitude abit. Soccer is all about DISCIPLINE AND PATIENCE. Rampone is a Great captain who can run to save us lots of coner kicks. Lots of experiences, I express my appreciated to her being Veteran, still keeping good shape , good defend. Abby Wambach??? Just AMAZING and of course over all USWNT got CLASS. Play Fair and I give them lots of respect...

@High5Brah She put the US up 2-1. Her lost her footing on that one shot, and that one in the first half was unlucky. She has willed this team to victory so many times, she was the only one to make her PK, it's not her fault the defense made huge mistakes. She embodied the intangibles we desperately needed from our other players today. She deserved this more than anyone else and I hope we see her donning the red, white and blue in 2015. She is a champion no matter what.

Wambach is a true legend...she's always there when the team needs her. She's brings a lot of energy and leadership to the game, and she plays with so much heart. She would literally do anything for the team. She came up big yesterday, because that's what clutch players do. They are the ones that make a difference. When your team is down a goal and down a player, with the odds against you, and you need a hero, its players like Wambach that come through.

Great job by Wambach and the cross by Rapinoe and the entire team for not giving up "Hope". get it Hope haha ehhh : ( Going for you guys to win the whole tournament. @High5Brah They wouldn't have even been there if it weren't for her. It was one she probably wants back, but I'd like to see you play soccer at that level. I was much more upset with Krieger's miss way too high on the PK. But it's a team sport, the US should have converted in the first half, Japan didn't give up, and they are the winners. But I have high hopes for the Olympics.
