Cables: All outgoing cables ka individually megger test karein. Earth Fault Relay Testing: Relay Settings: Earth fault relay ke settings aur coordination check karein. Relay Functionality: Ensure karein ki relay properly function kar rahi ho. Relay testing equipment se relay ka operation check karein. Current Transformers (CTs) Check: CT Ratios: CT ratios aur polarity check karein. Incorrect CT connection bhi fault indication ka reason ho sakta hai. Secondary Circuit: CT secondary circuit aur wiring ko thoroughly check karein. Cable Joint and Termination Inspection: Joints: Cable joints ko inspect karein. Bad joints bhi earth fault ka cause ho sakte hain. Terminations: Proper terminations ensure karein. Loose connections arcing aur fault cause kar sakte hain. Grounding System Inspection: Earth Pits: Earth pits ka resistance measure karein. High resistance value ka earth fault indication ho sakta hai. Grounding Conductors: Ensure karein ki all grounding conductors properly connected aur intact ho. Isolation and Sectionalization: Isolate Sections: Faulty section ko isolate karein aur check karein. Isse aap specific faulty area identify kar sakte hain. Sub-Sections Testing: Different sub-sections ko individually test karein. Thermal Imaging: Hotspots Detection: Thermal imaging camera se panel aur cables ke hotspots detect karein. Hotspots insulation failure ya poor connections indicate karte hain.
